Nice room; clean and quiet enough; friendly, knowledgeable innkeepers, Patrick and Jo Anne,- could have a pleasant beer with them, and we did, on the porch; fabulous breakfast. Easy walk to town; plenty of good stores, restaurants and pubs to keep you entertained for a couple days; and good fly fishing in the Elk (Patrick can give you good spots... More

We've been to Fernie a number of times over the past several years - but in the winter for the skiing (our favourite place in the Rockies). We wanted to try the mountains in the summer and one of our stops was Fernie. We stayed with Patrick and Jo Anne for a few days last July and it was a... More

Lovely room and wonderful hosts. Very accommodating with breakfast as I don't eat eggs.My only suggestion would be if they could provide tea for the guests in the common tv room. Other than a minor recommendation it was awesome.

We always try to accommodate people needs for breakfast so we are happy you enjoyed breakfast. As far as tea in the common TV room and varanda, we would be happy to accommodate our guests and suggest in the future, if we forget just ask. More

Beautiful and quaint B&B that has been wonderfully restored. The innkeepers Patrick and Jo Anne were very friendly and entertaining. Wonderful people who made our visit all the more enjoyable. We stayed in the Buttercup room, which was clean, roomy and tastefully decorated. The location of this property cant be beat. You are two blocks from the hustle and bustle... More

First of all no one is more surprised that I am writing a review on a B&B than me. I'm just not a B&B kind of guy, I usually stay at a hotel for obvious reasons (beds, sheets and towels), but a friend of mine recommended staying at a B&B and Dr Kosiec said that I should try the Old... More

Since I'm a nurse, my friend thought it would be neat to stay at a former nurses' residence. It is a beautiful old home with lots of character, and our room was nicely equipped with 2 queen sized beds that were quite comfortable. The house is very clean. The bathroom is very tiny, and there are no plug ins (common... More

What a great experience! The B&B is immaculate and we were very pleased with our room -- the Hat Box room. We had no complaints or concerns about the room (we brought our own shampoo and blow dryer so were prepared). The property is very secure, very well kept. We could hear our neighbours' conversations quite clearly while we were... More

We actually came to this B&B by chance as we had actually booked another one in the local area. Just a week before our trip our original host had a medical condition that needed immediate attention and they could not host us. They called ahead on our behalf and were able to get us the last available room at the... More

Great food and hosts made this trip memorable. The house is full of character and quite homey as it has very high ceilings. Very close to the historic downtown with great pubs and restaurants. We only needed our car for the reunion and fishing.

I stayed here for only one night recently and I found my host Patrick to be very helpful and polite. I stayed in the Buttercup room and found it to have everything I needed except shampoo and conditioner. I had not packed any and had to run out and get some. The large shower head provided a nice stream of... More
