We booked a room on the way to see family. We booked a King room and let them know we had a 10 lb dog. No problem even emailed to confirm. We arrive and told can't do a King Room because we had a dog and the drive thru we wanted didn't happen. My husband is 79 and he and I lugging luggage up a hill. I was so angry I wrote to head office but no one responded. I will NEVER recommend them.

I really wasn't expecting much based on the low room rate, but was very impressed with the newly renovated room and the room and washroom were very, very clean. We would definitely stay here again passing through.

Booked a room only to fi d out we could not get it staff error and no phone call to give sus a chance to possibly go to another motel. The upgrade as not good hated to see the first room . Owner should have spent money on room and not on his fancy heating controls.

If you are really tired and not too fussy this may be OK but the place is rough not what you would expect from a Howard Johnson's because of the buildings design there is little natural light. (No outside windows). if you enjoyed 1970 this place will take you back.

The hotel was very easy to find and also easy to find stores and restaurants - I would only ask that the pool be heated a little warmer - it was too chilly for my liking. Also - we were given banana with our breakfast bag of which I am not a big fan
