Arrived late during the night, no shop or restaurant were open and we were hungry. Host was so kind she offered food even though this is a bed and breakfast only. Never seen such generous host before. Many many thanks to the hosts. A very clean place, AAA service, rich historical victorian interior well preserved, delicious breakfasts. I will return...

Often neglected in favour of the Laurentians and especially the Mont Tremblant region, Quebec's Eastern Townships are well worth a visit for a variety of reasons - ski slopes, picturesque villages, charming country inns and, especially for the quaint intermingling of French and English backgrounds and flavours. Typical of such areas is that around Mount Orford and North Hatley. And,...

After having read the good reviews we were quite disappointed with the cornemuse. The communication about the reservation was very slow, we waited two weeks and then a week for an answer. When we arrived we discovered that we were put in the basement instead of one of the rooms depicted on the website. No nice features, views, bath, furniture,...

I am sorry to learn that the delay to respond to your room inquiry was that long. A la Cornemuse B & B is a small inn and there is no Front Desk Clerk following up on e-mails and room requests in a timely fashion. After verification, I have noticed that effectively it took 4 days before your October 17th...

This was our first visit in North Hatley and we were looking to spend 2 nights there before leaving for Nova Scotia to visit relatives. My husband and I have always enjoyed staying at smaller retreats when traveling. We came across this B&B while searching online and reading the numerous reviews, it was clear to us that this place was...

My wife and I have stayed at the Cornemuse in North Hatley many times during the previous 4 years while visiting our son at nearby Bishop's University in Lennoxville. The rooms are simply but tastefully furnished. There also are comfortable common areas. Our hosts, Jocelyn and Diane, run a quiet and clean establishment and the breakfasts are excellent. We always...

We only stayed one night, but it was heaven. The town itself is quiet, peaceful, and lovely, and La Cornemuse epitomizes the town. The home is decorated with perfection -- furniture and little touches show such attention to detail. Our room was sooooo comfortable! I awoke during the night, and was delighted that I had. We had the window wide...

Katie and I have often stayed at Cornemeuse and feel so much at home, being Celts!Diane and Jocelyn are perfect hosts and tuned in to all things Celtic and .....golf (well, Scotland is the home of golf). The wonderful spacious home 'breathes' Scotland and , if Jocelyn has the supplies, there is a wonderful breakfast of genuine Scottish porridge ,...
