Vacation stays are usually for a bit, but this was a one night stay for Foresta Lumina, which was so very magical. The whole of our 24 hour experience was pretty amazing, and little bits of "precious" were tucked in everywhere on the hotel property. Nothing fell short, and the trip itself, in just 24 hours, left us happy and...

Hovey Manor is an excellent hotel with a beautiful waterfront. However, it would have been nice if the hotel had acknowledged Canada day. Perhaps a small Canada flag at the desk and on the bars. It could still be accompanied with the Fleur de lys. We realize we are in Quebec but it is still Canada. Our stay was excellent...

This is the perfect getaway for people who want a slow-paced yet well cared for experience in the midst of a gorgeous location on a lovely lake. Staff see to your every need with graciousness and attentiveness without being overbearing . While the food in the restaurant is quite good, we found it to be a bit repetitive despite a...

We enjoyed two nights at this storied inn, well-known to readers of Louise Penny novels because one of them is set here. We had a lovely room in a separate building, with a magnificent view of the lake. The room was spacious and fine, with a very good bed and a superb double shower. We did not get a chance...

This was our seventh visit to Hovey Manor and our experience just keeps improving. Just when you think it can't get any better, it does. From check-in, Marc the office manager welcomed us as returning guests. Our room was an exceptional experience, with views of the gardens and the lake. We had left a gratuity for the housekeepers which they...

Every detail was perfect a nice easy drive from Montreal for an over night stay. Breakfast was some what over priced but the dining room atmosphere and food were wonderful. The rooms are quaint and a nice size. The grounds and gardens are well kept and the view on the lake is stunning.

Going in to the resort was a little skeptical for my mother and I, as during the drive you'll find that you are practically in the middle of nowhere. However, that exact fact is the beauty of the place. You are in the middle of a gorgeous "nowhere". It's a seclusive, friendly, and outstanding hotel, and those lucky enough to...

When you feel like spoiling yourself, this is the place to come. Beautiful setting and quaint but luxurious accommodations. The view of the lake, the quietness of the property, the gorgeous gardens and the incredible food all made our stay a wonderful reprieve. Staff in the hotel and the restaurant were wonderful as well. Most highly recommend visiting!

Beautiful Inn overlooking lake. Rooms are large and modern. Restaurant is amazing with unique gourmet food. Try the Kale Pot...you literally cut your own kale for the salad which was fun but the salad was amazing. Room 28 Hassan awesome view.
