Fantastic location ski in / out , everything within walking distance. Room was great, comfortable and everything that we needed for our stay . Reception was friendly and helpful. Overall our experience was excellent. Only down side noisy neighbours ,walls are thin.

The room was very overpriced for what it was - an exceptionally dark cave room at groun level. The small window for such a deep room had a ground floor view of the parking lot and even that was obstructed by a building corner. I asked for a room change when we arrived as this room had almost no natural light, but was to D they were unable to accommodate us for the two nights we were there. The room had no heat. We had to wait for someone to come turn it on at the one (person said it had been turned off). That indicates that this nasty room (at $500/night) was a room of last resort. These kinds of rooms should be sold with warnings and at discounts. Not full junior suite prices. Add that that wall were paper thin and the family with kids staying next to us could be heard as loud as day early in the morning.

We had a great week and would stay at Lodge de la Montagne again! Strengths: - Room was a good size and had everything that we needed for a comfortable week on the slopes - Windows open for air and temp regulation (recommend leaving HVAC on Fan overnight rather than Heat) - Very close enough to ski school to come back for lunch, or to return equipment later in the evening - Underground parking is high enough for roof racks - Hotel provides lock for ski locker - Outdoor spa was lovely after a day on the slopes Opportunities for Improvement: - Sharpen the knives and the scissors - Laundry app required a $10 initial load even if you only wanted to do one wash and dry ~$6 - Only 1 elevator of 2 was working which made for some very long wait times especially at rush hours - 9am, 11:30am, 1pm and 3:30pm - several times we opted for the stairs; plan accordingly Other comments: - Temperatures hovered around zero when we were there, so the ski locker (on S3) was humid and nothing dried and boots became damp, same with the parking garage (so couldn't leave boots in truck on S3 parking level) - needed to bring ski boots / helmets back to the room to dry - Some reviews suggested skiing down to take Cabriolet which is level with Telecabine; we thought it was faster if equal effort to walk up the short hill to the Telecabine - Restaurants in the village fill up early! Go for 5-5:30pm or you might not get in

Overall, a decent 3* hotel. However, beware that some rooms are smaller than others! The room we were given, despite paying around £250 a night, was rectangular and characterless with no balcony. We felt rather cheated to be honest, especially after discovering that there were only about 4 such rooms per floor and that the other rooms were much larger and had balconies.

There’s no noise insulation, it’s a total horror for a hyper-sensitive person like me. I had to wear earplugs and have a pillow over my head all night long. Will not come back again. The reception service was friendly and location exellent, however.

Fantastic location, clean, friendly staff, ski lockers and ski in/out with early lift privileges. Loved it! Our room was a bit too warm but solved this by running the fan only for most of our stay. We asked for and received a quiet room and had plenty of space for our family of 3 in the standard queen room. Handy to have a kitchenette, we were surprised that ours had an electric kettle and toaster in addition to the microwave and Keurig. We had brought our own kettle and an InstantPot from home to make quick breakfasts and this worked well for us.

My family of four (two adults and two teens) had a lovely stay here for five nights. Pros: - fantastic location--close to the top of the Cabriolet (1.5-minute gondola ride to and from top and bottom of pedestrian village) and the bottom of the Telecabine (covered, 10-minute gondola ride to and from the summit of mountain) - our one-bedroom was spacious and had so much storage space, including extra hooks on the wall to hang our parkas and snowpants - fully stocked kitchen for four people - missing amenities were only a phone call away (there were no linens or blankets for the sofa bed when we arrived to the room) - ski-in/ski-out privileges so convenient! Storage lockers are in the basement--we parked our car close to the locker room so we changed into and out of our ski boots from our trunk - locks available for lockers if needed. We brought our own Dudley locks; we easily stored four sets of skis and poles into two lockers - staying on site meant that we could access ski lifts one hour before the general public (7:45 instead of 8:30--but they unofficially start operating the Telecabine at 7:30) Cons: - very expensive and there were no deals during high season - hot tub and gym out of service due to Covid restrictions - there is only one set of elevators (two elevators) for the entire hotel so there could be a wait during busy times - no night skiing - very cold (but we were fine as we dressed in layers) - the Telecabine line can be over 30 minutes long after 11:00 am--take advantage of early access! - as well, the runs are over-crowded after 11:00--I was fearful of skiing into people or having people ski into me at all times. The runs first thing in the morning were absolutely lovely. - The hotel is situated halfway up a hill. The gondolas are at the top of that hill (steps away) and it can be VERY taxing walking up the rest of the hill with ski boots on while carrying all the ski gear to get to the Telecabine line. Instead, ski down the rest of the hill and take the Cabriolet up. The top of the Cabriolet is situated right across (and on flat land!) from the bottom of the Telecabine--we learned the hard way how much less taxing this way is!

We had a suite with 2 beds in the bedroom, a full kitchen, sofa bed, fireplace and balcony (not in use in the winter) in December 2021. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly and cheerful. The hot tub was closed because of covid by the provincial government. It takes about 4 minutes to walk from the hotel to the gondola that heads up the ski slopes. It takes about as long to get to the main shopping street. The hotel is right there but it is not right on the main pedestrian roads in the pedestrian village so it doesn't have any noise from restaurants or bars. There are ski lockers in the basement and parking in a 3 level subterranean basement (for an extra $15/night). The parking is convenient but really tight and there is only one ramp for people going both up and down. You access the hotel by a sort of ring road so you don't have to go through much skiier traffic to get in and out. We would definitely return to the Lodge de la Montagne.

The Lodge is an outdated yet clean hotel near the gondola and ski lift at the top of the hill in the Mont-Tremblant resort. It also has some of the worst insulation of any accommodation I have come across. The walls and windows might as well be made of tissue paper. If your neighbour coughs even quietly you will hear it loud and clear. Our room faced out over the village so the first night we had the noise of a bachelorette party rebounding off the walls and the baby next to us woke and and began screaming. The next night the shouting and screaming and piped music and booming discos kept me up till 3 am. Very disappointing - certainly won’t go back again.

Staying here was part of why my trip to Canada was one of the most magical experiences of my whole life. The heated outdoor pool, the comfortable rooms, the skiing straight from the hotel down to the base of the mountain - all incredible. Wonderful restaurants and shops only moments away. Thank you for the forever memories, I hope I'll be back someday with my family.
