Marilyn and Judd are warm and gracious hosts in this historic and charming retreat home. You feel welcomed in their home and you are treated as royalty as they prepare a savory breakfast that would warrant a five-star rating on its own. Step back into 1874 as you enter this quaint home that is reminiscent of a bygone era.

July 2015 Fresh flowers in every room and homemade baking, and jams by Marilyn are a couple of the special touches we look forward to year after year. We had another most relaxing and refreshing time of renewal at Juddhaven this year. Swimming in the sandy bay, sitting under the shade of the cedar trees, feeling the cool breeze off...

My husband and I recently spent one night as guests of Ken and Marilyn Judd at their cozy, spotlessly clean Juddhaven Guest House. When we drove in the drive, Marilyn came out to greet us and offered to help us with luggage. She is warm, kind and you instantly feel right at home. Our room was charming with a mix...

Ken & Marilyn make you feel like you're one of the family . . . without you even knowing it - adding a whole other level to the stay ! Marilyn sets a delightful table every morning with freshly-picked flowers from the garden and prepares an exquisite breakfast that really is the best on the Muskoka Lakes - only because...

If you're looking for old Muskoka this place is it! We have going to every year since 2003. Juddhaven is nestled on three acres of land, overlooking a quiet bay on Lake Rosseau. It is a living museum, and has remained in the Judd family since it was built in1875. The present owners, Ken and Marilyn Judd, inherited it from...

“I think there is only one room with an ensuite. I am not completely sure about that. Ken offered to put an air conditioner in the room window, but we opted not and used the ceiling fan for cooling. It might get a little warm on very hot days, the weather was in the low 20's when we stayed.”
