Really great family room, went with my 2 girlfriends and we had an adorable loft family room. The bathroom was large with a nice big soaker tub and very clean. The location was amazing with cool shops and restaurants very close by. The fisheries museum is also close although it wasn't open yet. The breakfast was included but very basic,...

This is our third summer staying at The Mariner King Inn. The rooms are beautiful. We stayed in the main building on the top floor and had our own private rooftop deck with a great view. The room had a large living room and also an additional alcove with plenty of comfy seating and bay windows with a view of...

Spent a weekend night at the Mariner King Inn and was impressed from the moment I met Barb at the front desk. The older main Inn is very charming and has all the features and character one would expect from such a historic setting. I booked the Inn as a birthday surprise and when I informed them, a nice cold...

Rooms are spread over several buildings and we were in the green building. Our 'suite' (302) was over two floors with a nice lounge downstairs and stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom. One slight problem was you could not shut the blinds to the ceiling 'windows' even the women on reception had no idea how to achieve that so...

We stayed here for two nights during our Nova Scotia tour. The hotel as well as the town itself appear to be out of an old movie. We stayed across the street ( the hotel has several building in the same general area that comprise "the hotel"). That unit was old , in a nice way, on the outside yet...

The Mariner King is centrally located & within easy walking distance of shops & restaurants in the scenic town of Lunenburg. Monika in reception was very welcoming & helpful. We are especially appreciative that when we inadvertently left our iPad behind, she contacted us & had it sent back to Ontario! The inn is made up of the very picturesque...

We were in the bright green building a few properties away from the main building. After difficulty in finding a parking space (free parking after 5pm until 10am next day) we were quite stressed when we arrived at Reception to find that we were not in the main building. The green building only has 3 rooms above a shop. Once...

We stayed here in the pink house across the street from the blue inn called the Mariner King Inn. Monika in reception was quite friendly and very helpful. She explained that we would only come into the blue building for breakfast, to use the exercise room or to do some laundry. We would sleep in the pink building across the...

My husband and I stayed here for the last night of our holiday and were very pleased. The inn has an historic feel but has all the modern conveniences and even has a business centre. We had a deluxe room in the main building and although we had to wait 15 minutes or so as everyone was arriving at once...

My wife and I visited Lunenburg recently and stayed one night at the Mariner King. Our first impressions were that we had rented a room in an historic, but sleepy B&B. It took us 20 minutes to get checked in while the person on duty was otherwise engaged. The family suite that we stayed in consisted of two bedrooms, queen...
