A surprise birthday getaway for my husband was made very special by the warmth we received at the Muskoka Rose Guest House. Elaine and David and Kobi are very good at hosting and making everyone feel special. Conversations around the table were a delight. The setting on tiny Pine Lake is idyllic and we found lots to do and see...

My sister and I were in the area to see Blue Rodeo play in Bala. This B&B was a short trip from our venue. It is a lovely home in a convenient location on a beautiful lake. Breakfast was delicious. Elaine and David were very accommodating and gracious hosts. When we saw the grounds and the lake, we wished we...

I was at the Muskoka Rose Guest House on November 7/8 (2016) and really enjoyed my stay. Elaine and David are enthusiastic hosts, and made us feel very welcome and at home. For the evening, they recommended a restaurant in the area - which was nice - and after we just watched a movie and hung out in front of...

My husband and I were recommended to visit this guesthouse and we were both delighted from the first connections on the telephone with the lovely Elaine, to the warm and genuine welcome, through to the end of our four-day stay. We did not want to leave! The accommodations were immaculately clean and well designed (and I'm an interior designer, so...

I stayed at the guest house with my wife in September and we loved the time we spent there. The owners are very friendly and ready to give you all the tips you want about what to do around. And be prepared for the breakfast! It's delicious (and huge!!!).

I want to say thank you for finding and staying with us. I have a wonderful photo of you both, which I will try to send sooner than later. We are getting ready for winter, lots of wood for the fire, and then planning skating, snowshoeing, & maybe cross country skiing on Pine Lake this year. You should see Muskoka...

We had a wonderful stay at Muskoka Rose. Everything was just great: the property, the lake, the house, the location, even the weather. Elaine and David are such welcoming and friendly hosts and we enjoyed their company. We had a misunderstanding with the booking and they were accommodating about it which was appreciated. Breakfast was delicious; we had the best...

This special Guest House was a wonderful experience made even more so by the owners Elaine and David. They were welcoming, friendly and would do anything to make our stay more pleasant!! The breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented with non-stop coffee or tea. The waterfront location offered canoeing, boating, etc. and is close to town. We will return!!!

Hello to you both. We so enjoyed your visit; the conversations reaching to understand and solve the world's problems. We feel so lucky to have and share the nature of Muskoka Region as a backdrop to the serenity of Pine Lake. I hope you will visit with us again during some of the other seasons, each with their own version...

Beautiful property, lovely access to the lake, in a wonderful spot, tip of the dark zone (light pollution controlled) up in Gravenhurst. We star gazed, canoed, and enjoyed the tasty breakfasts. The hosts were very informative, and know how to make their place great. We'll be back!

This is a beautiful property right on Pine Lake, just a few minutes outside Gravenhurst. The rooms are lovely and there is a spacious common area and many outdoor options as well. David and Elaine are great hosts, very tuned in to the beauty of the area. Elaine is a superb cook and we had a delicious breakfast of Peameal...
