We stayed at Emerald Lake Lodge based on the positive Google reviews. We had two nights available for a getaway and were incredibly happy with our decision to stay at the Emerald Lake Lodge. The nature is spectacular. We enjoyed hiking around the lake with our dog and exploring the same trail on our bikes. The lake is truly stunning....

The scenery was beautiful but the service that we got from some of the staff was poor. They did not seem to be very organized, ie they ran out of some wine and food. They seemed to have hired people that did not know how to serve people in the restaurant and/or did not want to serve

I can see why people travel from all over the world to stay here. It is a beautiful location with great service and friendly staff. Don't miss the hike around the lake - spectacular! The food in the dining room was delicious. I had the Caribou medallions and they wonderful. Rent a canoe and paddle the lake - the water...

Nestled in a 'bowl' surrounded by imposing mountain peaks this facilty sits beside the eponymous Emerald Lake. It is conveniently located just a few kilometres (by smooth paved road) from Trans Canada Hwy passing through Yoho National Park in BC a short distance from the border with Alberta. The nearest locality is the picturesque village of Field, BC. This secluded...

This is my favorite place on earth! A perfect "wind down" from city life. It is literally so beautiful in every direction you look! I was constantly asked if the pictures I posted of our trip were photo shopped and not one of them were!!! We love hiking and this was perfect for that, so many trails in every direction...

We visited mid May and the lake was still thawing out but the mountains were beautiful with snow still! Amazing service from the Emerald Lake staff all around. Highly recommend to any and everyone, no matter what the occasion is!!! We will be back soon!

Pros: The scenery is unbelievable, and the staff is friendly (though poorly managed). There is a fireplace in the room, a fire pit by the lake and a decent hot tub and gym. The food is decent too. Cons: This place needs new (some, any?) management. They have a huge and friendly staff, but you just continually get the impression...

We stayed here 3 years and it was wonderful then. Our latest experience at Emerald Lake was such a disappointment. Emerald Lake Lodge is very expensive. The restaurant is very expensive. For the price you pay everything should be top notch. Sadly, it is far from top notch. The room was just barely okay. Nothing luxurious about it. The walls...

Beautiful surroundings. Rooms are a nice blend of rustic charm with upscale bedding. Would be nice to have Wi-Fi in cabin rooms. Lovely hiking trails. Good food but a little pricey. Friendly service. All in all a very nice place to unwind for a few days.

From the mountains, to the food, to the truly special staff. Mother Nature doesn't disappoint and neither did the staff. Anyone coming here needs to do the hike around the lake. Bring good footwear and expect weather changes!
