Yes this hotel is dated. Yes the decor is from the seventies. Yes it isn't the most prettiest hotels in Creston. So if you are some kind of princess, this may not be the place for you. But it is clean. It is quiet. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is very reasonable priced and it is right in... More

Thank you for your kind words. Our staff works very hard to make sure we remain clean, comfortable and "groovy". More

We stayed one night in Creston on our way east. The Downtowner had a reasonable price and good location. We decided to stay there. The hotel has an excellent location if you want to be in "downtown" Creston (not much there). There appears to be ample free parking on site (the parking lot was almost empty the night we were... I travel between Vancouver Canada and Phoenix Arizona twice every year by car, and use many motels. Nothing in my experience over 26 years has been as pristine or well run as this motel. A great credit to the owners and management. Two thumbs up.

Very enjoyable at a reasonable price. Clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and has an ice cream parlor right across the street!! Pet friendly and recommended. Not a spa - excellent road trip hotel.

The room was clean and reasonably comfortable for a one night stay. The price was great for three adults and a baby. The location was perfect but a little noisy ( right next to the busy highway). The bathroom was tiny and the beds were very basic. The carpet was a short tomatoe red shag straight out of the eighties!... More

The Downtowner Motor Inn was fine to stay at. It was clean but definitely needs to be updated. Amenities were adequate but nothing special. Beds and linen were okay. We just stayed the one night on our way into the United States. Would I stay here for a long period, probably not but it did serve its purpose....

We were on the upper level, it was quiet and comfortable. Very charming layout with a nice indoor courtyard type setting and hot tub off of this area. Nice location with convenient parking. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Not a modern new place but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Appreciated the 'fridge in the room. The bathroom was in good shape. There was a jacuzzi but we didn't check it out. Carpet and bedspreads could do with updating.

We have stayed here before and we're delighted to find that it is as good as we recall. Close to everything downtown, speciality coffee shop across the street, a fine Indian restaurant a few doors down, Jimmys Greek restaurant and pub a few doors down and SunR Chinese on the next block. Rooms are ultra clean, and hosts Marg and... More

Stayed at this property for one night while on the way to Vancouver. At $70 per night plus taxes, I won't get into the upside or downside of the property. Sure, it's s little dated, but all we needed was a bed and a morning coffee, so mission accomplished. Free parking, close to food service, coffee available in the common... More
