I was unable to get a room at my regular place because of a big athletic event in Amherst and so reluctantly booked at the Wandlyn Inn. Should have gone with my first gut instinct and just driven the couple of hours home. The parking lot is full of holes and that first impression is run down (or run away)....

Our first stay at this inn was forty plus years ago when it was a comfortable place to sleep and dine. The only reason we were at the inn was because we could not get a place in Moncton. The whole place has gone so downhill from the receptionist to the lobby, hallways, room and dining area. The room was...

At one time this hotel was wonderful however this visit this past fall was awful. The room was dirty and the food was terrible. I order a dish with shrimp in it and canned shrimp was used. I would not recommend this location at all.

Only room in Amherst on a dark and rainy night. Better than sleeping in the car but not a nice hotel. Needs a lot of TLC in every aspect even the towels thin and worn out. The dining room is closed by 9:00 am for breakfast. The room we were in needed air and had a stale smell. Check in...

My husband checked us in while I waited in the car with our 2-year-old. He was directed to the back of the hotel to take the door closest to our room which was on the second floor, 30 degrees, with no air conditioning and no elevator. The maintenance person/people had left some discarded items outside the back door (old bed...

Stayed here one night and it looked very old fashion the lights in the halls were mostly out and it look like a horror movie, the beds were springy I just thought it was very out dated and it would probably be a lot better if they did a few upgrades to brighten the place up abit I would recommend this...

A motel that has seen far too many people without many updates. The rooms are large and check in was hassle free, but not too many other points in its favour. Everything looks very old and tired. Odd that they couldn't provide a drain plug for either the tub or sink. Also found it unusual that everything in the room was...

This place was clean, but it was very worn out. We wondered how many places it had been before. The breakfast room was the highlight. It was bright and sunny with great windows. It was strange that it had outside doors and inside doors to a hallway. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

We went to this 'inn' after seeing an advert on the Internet advertising it and it's pool as I really wanted a swim. People say you shouldn't make up your mind on first expressions - however my impression was correct. Outside was shabby & dirty - so was the inside. The receptionist met us - she had holes in her...

My company booked me at this hotel for July 1, 2016. When I arrived to check in, I was greeted by a friendly desk clerk and proceeded to go to my room. I noted on my way to the room that the halls etc were very dated. When I opened the door to my room, my wife and I were...
