Mother-Daughter visit in June to check "horseback riding" off bucket list. We arrived early and they were more than happy to get us out riding as soon as possible; and by doing so, we missed the late afternoon downpour so, thank you! A very friendly, laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Our guide, Nicola was all-round amazing; Not only did she...

I wrote this review while sitting in our cabin with the wood stove going, looking out our window onto a beautiful lake after having just completed a wonderful trail ride to see a waterfall. This is a very down to earth, relaxed ranch where you can come to ride many different trails, or walk along them, or paddle around a...

My kids and I needed to break up our road trip from Barkerville to Vancouver Island so chose Spring Lake Ranch basically because the location and price worked well and I wanted a ranch experience. There were not many reviews on here, so we went in a little unsure of what to expect. We were so happy with the choice!...

We dropped in without a reservation and although they were fully booked, they put us in a rough cabin by the lake. It was more than expected, clean, comfortable and beautiful view. My daughter even did a pony ride on "Shorty" the next day. Highly recommended!

We recently stayed at the ranch and was very pleased with our time there. The set up is great and because it runs a pay for what you use system you are free to work out your own budget. I have previously stayed at all inclusive resorts which have been great but do work out quite expensive. The ranch hands...

We stayed in one of the cabins overlooking the lake. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful. We came up with a large group and rented the whole resort. Great family time. Had an excellent time kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, and little ones enjoyed the sand pile at the waters edge. Down by the lake is a large gazebo and...

I did not stay at the Ranch, but went there for a 2 hour ride, which was just fantastic. As a very experienced rider I had been a little annoyed by the responses of many trail ride providers, that I could expect something like "a walk through the woods" with a lot of beginners. At Spring Lake Guest Ranch we...

Our first experience here was a 2013 Christmas sleigh ride here with my husband and our 2 children. It was amazing. The hot chocolate at the end was a lovely touch. My most recent trip was an over night in their largest log cabin in June 2015. It was a group of women celebrating and it was fantastic. The amenities...

Our organization had a working retreat at the ranch. John, Myrna and their friendly staff were totally accommodating and pleasant. The accommodations and facilities were all great. This was a great property to hold our workshops at. Our small group of eight had more than enough time and space. I think that they could easily accommodate groups of up to...
