We stayed here for a week - 2 adults and 2 kids and loved it. We had a two bedroom cottage to ourselves and it was awesome. It was well equipped and a details were taken care of like cozy slippers and towels for the beach! The location was so quiet and very tranquil. The ferry to Balfour was a... More

We stayed in the cabins and had a wonderful time. There are only 3 cabins on site and they are all secluded. As well as the cabins there is the manor. All the rooms in the manor are beautiful. The grounds are wonderful with many plants and flowers. There is a path that leads up to a waterfall. Well worth... More

We were travelling as two couples. Each couple had a delightful historical room. Hosts Pilar and Arnaldo were friendly and informative and shared a great deal of the history. Breakfast was unique and delightful. Don't miss a walk around the grounds to see the species of trees that were brought from England over 100 years ago. We strongly recommend staying... More

This was our first time staying at the Manor and it won't be our last. I mean, you're staying at a house that was built in 1910 and owned by the niece of Charles Darwin. That was enough for us to want to check out the place. I believe the house has been a B&B for more than 30 years... More

This rustic Manor has been restored and offers large rooms and a beautiful setting. The hosts are fantastic and offered us a snack upon our arrival. There is lots of accessible common area space for relaxing.

We rented the Squirrel's Den cabin and it was great! It had all of the amenities we needed and made for a very comfortable weekend. The couple that owns the place were also delightful. They made us a delicious breakfast and gave us a nice tour of the main building and grounds. Definitely check this place out!

What a warm welcome with cheese, wine and fruit. We had a great evening chatting with the owners, André and Nancy, in the cosy library. The room was spectacular, very warm, super clean and very comfy beds. The building breathes history all over the place. The next morning we were surprised with the most complete breakfast ever: peach cobbler, bacon... More
