The coolest and most different resort that I have ever been too! I had reserved two of the bigger cabins which visit about five each. Each cabin was 2 stories with 3 beds and also a living room! The cabins were spacious and roomy with a lot of space to relax and have fun. The rooms were very clean and...

A friendly family run business that makes an effort to bring guests together with barbecues, s'mores and bonfires and guest orientation evenings. The resort has sports facilities aside from the pool and bikes such as table tennis, volleyball nets and frisbee golf practice. Facilities are not fancy but very nicely thought out and well maintained. We stayed 4 nights with...

My husband and I rode the gondola up and hiked down the Crystal Mountain Trail. It was wonderful! From the views to the beautiful wildflowers and lakes, it was a fantastic 5 mile hike! The $22 each for the gondola ride was worth every penny. We sat in the chairs at the top and took in the fantastic view of...

We spent three nights at Alta Crystal Resort in July 2016, along with our two grandchildren, ages 7 and 9. We appreciated the convenience of having a two bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a small eat-in kitchen, living room, and seating on the porch--lots of room to spread out and relax! We cooked our own breakfast each morning, then headed...

We spent 2 nights here and would have loved to stay longer. The rooms were very comfortable and the people in the office were very helpful with area activities. They had a scavenger hunt for the kids around the property and it was so beautiful and great fun for the kids.

Our family of 5 loved this place. Reasonably convenient to the park and charming accommodations. A quaint log cabin houses a game room with ping pong and Fuz ball. Lots of board games to choose from. Our loft suite was perfect and included a nook that comfortably slept our third child. Each evening the owners hosted a fun event from...

I read great reviews about this resort, and still it exceeded my expectations. Our rooms were well equipped, designed, and maintained. The onsite shop has a lot of selections for miscellaneous shopping needs. The rooms offer a small home in the woods appeal.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Cabin for 3 days in the Mt. Rainer area. Very friendly staff & well maintained grounds. Had reserved this cabin 6 months in advance. Initially, we were really impressed & enjoyed the BBQ on Sunday night. But then, some shoddy craftsmanship in the interior was noted. Electrical outlet receptacle's on the first floor were so...

Dear Christine: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We always appreciate input, good and bad, as guest feedback and suggestions can only help us get better. We would love to believe that guests staying here can unplug from technology for a while, but we also know that WiFi and cell phones are important. We installed cell...

The perfect getaway for Mt. Rainier National Park and Crystal Mountain. Charming chalet suites & a romantic honeymoon log cabin are tucked in the national forest, just 1 mile outside the northeast entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park & 7 miles from Crystal Mountain and its new Mt. Rainier Gondola. Soak in our hot tub and swim in our year-round heated pool (heated to 90° in the winter) -- we're Crystal and Mt. Rainier's only accommodations with both. Fireplaces, small fully equipped kitchens and renovated mountain lodge style accommodations are perfect for couples and families. Guests love our evening activities (weekends, holidays and summers) such as bonfires, movie nights, karaoke, crafts parties, and summer barbecues. Hike, sightsee, bike, ride horses, play disc golf in the summer. Ski, snowshoe and play in the snow in the winter. Open year-round. ... more   less
