We stayed here for a week last summer, what a wonderful place. The couole.who looked after us were really friendly and attentive.

Loved our recent stay at Mussel Beach. Lori was just wonderful and I was well informed about the bumpy road and the pack in/pack out rules of this more secluded campground before we arrived. I will agree with a previous review - the pit toilets...More

Hello,We have had a lot of people use Mussel Beach as a starting point for the broken islands or just for day trips. If you head right across it takes a good hour and a half of paddling and it is open ocean so weather can be an issue. You can also head down past Salmon Beach and then over which is longer but more protected. We charge $5.00 per day per car for parking . Hope this answers your question, for more info you can give us a call at 250-893-2267.
