As always; world class experience. Fishing guide was knowledgable and accommodating. Vessel and gear in excellent shape. Accommodations were lovely. New chef, needs some constructive criticism. Not a fan of fusion.

My son and I returned to Langara on Labor day weekend. We had a great experience 3 years ago and thought nothing could top that.............Were we ever wrong. The staff here are so on top of "customer service" it is har to believe! This year the trip from Vancouver to Haida Gwai was with a 737 jet, a huge improvement... More

Wow! We purchased this adventure, last summer, for summer of 2016 at a live auction. We wanted a BC experience and we were told Langara is that. I had no idea what to expect as we do not fish. I see why we paid so much money to go. The Langara staff are amazing! 10 star service! The food was... More

We've been going there for the last 27 years. Its an experience of a lifetime. Staff are super, accommodations and meals 5 star plus. The fishing experience is beyond imagination. Watching Eagles, humpback whales, feeding and the occasional and sensational breaching that leaves you breathless. With our fishing limits full, we're now returning home but not before rebooking for 2017.

The staff were excellent. The lodge was beautiful. The food was impressive. The fishing guide was great (the fishing... well, it was fun regardless of few actual fish. Other members of the family caught some spectacular salmon and halibut). The sea lions were well-fed as were the bald eagles. The setting was pristine.

Wow. This place is amazing and I went because friends invited us and it was on my husband's wish list. I love the outdoors, but I though I was going to be stuck in a cove on a small boat: bored. But there is no way you could be bored at this place. From the amazing helicopter ride in, this... More

Had the good fortune of being rewarded with a 4-day fishing trip to Langara Island with work associates. I've fished in many places but this would be my first trip looking for salmon. What I can say is that the experience overall was a very good one. The lodge is beautiful with spectacular views of whales spouting in the Parry... More

Well, the main reason to visit Langara Fishing Lodge is to catch fish. And that we did, including our license limits on Chinook, other salmon, and halibut. Wildlife abounds in these waters and we saw eagles galore, humpback whales, orcas, sea lions and more. But LFL goes beyond just fishing. The service was spectacular. Staff sported perpetual smiling faces and... More

By far my favourite lodge! I went once when I was 4, and once when I was 7. An an unforgettable adventure of a lifetime. Our guide put us on the Tyees, and more. Beautiful scenery in the far region of Haida Gwaii. I definitely want to go again! If you are after big fish and unforgettable fights, this is... More
