We arrived on the Friday and stayed until Sunday. The staff were amazing and the management team being Marietjie and Joep were incredibly accommodating and hands on. We went for a game drive with Johannes and he kept the children entertained with all his knowledge of the different buck found on the farm. The rooms were wonderfully clean and the...

Spent last two nights of a trip to South Africa here. It is a lovely, quiet spot with very comfortable and attractively decorated chalets (comfy bed, nice tub and shower, small fridge to keep a few things cold) and lots of windows with nice bright views over property. Breakfast and supplemental braii foods were all very tasty. Play area and...

This spot is not far out of Jo'burg at all, perfect destination for a weekend away. The bedrooms were well equipped, massive bed, shower & bath! Lovely deck to sit and watch the sun go down whilst sipping on a G&T. We took our own meat to braai and own drinks. The salad & starch dish provided and breakfast the...

We enjoyed our 2 nights at Mount Savannah a great deal. The hosts and staff were all friendly and kind and helpful. We found the facilities to be exactly as promised. Rooms are spacious and clean. We used an indoor (inside a tented room outside) gas braai that worked really well. We all grilled our own meat. Marietkie's salads and...

We have stayed in many places during our trip to South Africa and Mt Savannah is the stand out. I wanted to wrap it up and take it home with me. I cannot say enough...

The game reserve is around 40kms from Randburg, which is close enough to pop out for a weekend, but far enough away to feel like you are in another province. The lodges are lovely but not self catering, which I would have preferred, being on my own. I wanted to hibernate and speak to no-one for 4 four days, but...
