Callow Hall is a traditional small country hotel but it is done with style. Charming staff. Large bedrooms. Attractive public rooms. Delightful grounds. Good parking and close to town. Fabulous countryside of course. Bits just a little shabby, but perfectly in character and thoroughly commended. Excellent breakfast and dinner and very personal service. Very uncorporate - good.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here. We were seated in a cosy bar area with a large selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes and plenty of tea. The staff were extremely polite and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. All in all a lovely relaxing way to spend an afternoon.

Sunday lunch out at Callow hall was fantastic, beautiful building, delicious food and fabulous staff. Four of us visited and no one had a bad word to say. Real country retreat feel, feels a million miles away from Ashbourne but is just out of the town centre- such an easy place to get to! Couldn't recommend enough

We spent one night in Callow Hall Hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. The room was lovely and the staff very attentive. The vegetarian food in the restaurant was really good and it seemed a lot of attention had gone into making the place a welcoming stay.

Cleared up for photos outside. Lovely back drop of the house and stunning country side. The staff? Excellent. Nothing flustered them. Food? Brilliant. The...

A delightful hotel In a beautiful setting. Staff are always very attentive and helpful. The food is superb. The grounds are worth a wander and it is somewhere you could happily spend a couple of days hiding from the rest of the world.

We stayed one night here for as part of a wedding party. The rooms were lovely with big, comfortable beds. Food and service was excellent. A beautiful place for a small wedding with plenty of charm and character.

My good friend got married at Callow Hall on Thursday and I wanted to share the wonderful experience we all had. The staff were welcoming and warm, answering questions and unobtrusively guiding us to the next stage of the wedding festivities. The room was very luxurious with definite attention paid to the details of full length mirrors, lovely bedding and...

This weekend we celebrated my daughters wedding at this beautiful venue. It was booked two years ago and we instantly fell in love with this idyllic location. The day was perfect. The staff are so friendly and attentive nothing is too much trouble. The food is beyond superlatives and again nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean, and allowing for the...
