We visited today for the first time to celebrate my Nan's birthday. What a beautiful place ! We were sat in a room all to ourselves with comfy sofas and chairs and a roaring fire. The setting was beautiful, the staff were attentive and the food was excellent with all homemade cakes, scones and pastries. The chef even kindly wrote...

Visited in the afternoon and had a delicious cream tea. Sat in a lovely comfortable lounge by a log fire all cosy and warm with a pot of hot tea and coffee. Yummy sandwiches and cakes whilst enjoying lovely country views through the window. Staff extremely welcoming , friendly and very helpful. Took my daughter as a birthday treat and...

I won't be returning. My room and bathroom was in need of some care and attention. Wall paper peeling off in places, sink plug not working, shower mixer taps not working properly (reported after night 1 and nothing done) Dinner was good though, so probably a good place to have a nice meal.

Stayed over one night on business in late December. Staff were very helpful, opening the bar for four of us after we came back from town. The rooms were very nice, cosy yet not small. Lovely building in a beautiful setting.

Wonderful stay at Callow Hall, stayed in rooms Wendy & Sarah ( as had my daughter with me and both of us had our dogs with us) - extremely spacious, clean, beautifully decorated rooms a mixture of antique furniture, art deco light fittings and flat screen TV's with stunning leaded picture windows overlooking the grounds. Dinner was spectacular after a...

Stayed at Callow Hall one night including dinner and breakfast. The staff seemed young and inexperienced but helpful and pleasant. We had booked a four-poster bed room which had the most awful silver painted four poster ( all down to taste I suppose -or lack of !!) totally out of character for a country house hotel. The general feel was...
