A lovely, old vicarage in a beautiful corner of the Derbyshire dales..... We stayed here for a weekend in late 2016 and have returned for more. The house is gorgeous, a beautifully furnished vicarage in Wetton, a tiny out of the way village with a hearty pub, a church and and an eccentric communal tea shop. Around it is a...

My wife and I spent a weekend at the Little Vicarage early January. From the moment we arrived Nicky was a fabulous host, going out to extraordinary lengths to ensure we had an amazing weekend. The Little Vicarage was perfectly kitted out for a weekend away, and it was easy to curl up and disappear from the world. I couldn't...

Lovely bed and breakfast, comfortable, warm and friendly place for our weekend visit. Very good breakfast with deliscious local produce and home made jams. Off road parking . Our bed was firm for me, but I have a problem with my hip, so took a travel topper. Nicola is a very friendly and helpful host. Beautiful area of the UK...

A lovely location to explore and beautiful property. Spotlessly clean, to a high spec. and with a warm welcome from Nicky. A few minor things we found disappointing: there were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. Whilst these are readily located in the breakfast room it wasn't conducive if you want an early morning cuppa in bed. The towels...

Carol Hi and thanks so much for taking the time to write a review for The Old Vicarage Country House. Firstly thanks for your kind words and secondly I am mortified that I didn't get chance to change your towels!! I do wish I'd known. We do all our own laundry as we haven't found anywhere with decent quality towels...

From the moment we were welcomed by Nicky we felt totally relaxed in the Little Vicarage - a relatively newly built self catering 2 bed cottage attached to the main house. Total peace and tranquility, in a excellent kept property. Large gardens. Loads of information about the area and the various things to do, plus a very useful book of...

Stayed at the old vicarage for a long weekend whilst meeting a childhood friend and celebrating 50 years of friendship. The location was chosen as a roughly half way point between Scotland and Devon, not been to this part of the Peak district before and it is well worth a visit, truly beautiful countryside with lots to choose from in...
