Comfy, quiet, laid back, affordable and good location to be near services and activities. Kayaks available, so I tried it first time. Fun! Would return with family. Well -equipped kitchen to cook our own meals. Next to marina which I liked because I come from a commercial fishing background. Friendly and efficient proprietors.

Our family, two grandparents, two parents and a four year old, stayed at North Coast Cottages in July 2016 for two nights prior to boarding the Inside Passage ferry. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The central location was convenient yet secluded, with water frontage for access with their kayaks. Our hosts Jennifer and Ivan were friendly and... More

This was our first trip to Port Hardy, and we spent a great deal of time trying to find a pet friendly place to stay. It's always very difficult to decide where to stay when you've never seen a location before, and even more so when travelling with a pet and your options are limited. So when we booked here,... For fishing this place can't be beat. Walking distance to the boat and harbor. Dog and kid friendly. This is not a hotel but a selection of cottage style rooms. Friends had a two bedroom and we had the lower studio. If you want to sleep in, get your own cottage. This place caters to fisherman so up early. Great... More

A terrific experience! We loved our 2 nights at the North Coast Cottages, lovely view of the harbour, quiet, close to town centre and all the amenities. The hosts are super, very personable, accomodating and concerned about our comfort. Our cat enjoyed his stay too.

We had a great time staying here. The suite was modern, recently renovated, with decently equipped kitchen. Heated floors were a nice bonus too. The owners were super laid back and flexible on things like check in/check out. It's close to the marina and the pub (everywhere else in Port Hardy, let's be honest), and easy to locate if you're... I stayed at North Coast Cottages in October of 2014 in a fully furnished basement suite, Unit number 5. All new and modern appliances with an externally accessible coin operated washer and dryer. I've stayed at several places in Port Hardy for work and with my family and North Coast Cottages are by far the best option. I stayed in the A frame cottage. Very nicely decorated. I was by myself on a business trip but it would be perfect for a family. Very responsive owners.
