This was our second stay, two years after the first, and it was just as lovely as before. Serenity-by-the-Sear is a perfect get-away if you are looking for a quiet and private experience with the beauty of the the Gulf Islands. Add to that the picturesque stream, waterfall and outdoor claw-f0ot bathtub for night time bubble baths. There is little...

This place was incredible in every way imaginable! I have had the opportunity to stay in many B&B's on the west coast for business and pleasure and this one, by far, was the most amazing yet, which is an incredible statement when considering the options available. The hosts were very kind and accommodating from beginning to end and offered a...

We had a totally relaxing, serene weekend at Serenity by the Sea. Chidakash and Shera were welcoming hosts, happy to give us information and show us around their beautiful property. We stayed in the suite, which is beautiful, with a soaring ceiling and lots of light. I had a superb massage by Shera. My partner and I came away from...

This was NOT what we expected at all. We booked two nights hoping for a romantic retreat for our wedding anniversary. The hostess was quite unfriendly....we felt like we had inconvenienced her when we arrived. The towels smelled like milldew. The garbage in the kitchen had not been changed for weeks - there were fruit flies swarming and mold growing....

Having just returned from our second visit to Serenity By The Sea we again find ourselves looking forward to our next stay. Shera and Chidakash have something very special here. My partner who is going through chemotherapy found that four days at Serenity By The Sea was more healing and transformative than any other treatment available to her. We were...

What a soulfully soothing peace of heaven!!! In two days, I was able to leave my troubles behind to experience some much needed serenity by the sea. Being able to taste timelessness was a journey in and of itself but I also got the opportunity to rekindle a few lost pieces of my relationship with my mom. Thank you for...

A unique architectural venue that embraces the essence of Gulf Island culture from the past to the present. A calm, relaxing retro aesthetic with light drenched rooms and a great panoramic view of the ocean. Very delicious West Coast cuisine for breakfast.

My friend and I just spent one night at Serenity by the Sea, but the matchless views from our room and the welcoming host made our short getaway truly wonderful.

When we arrived at serenity by the sea we got out of our car and greeted the two younger workers , we thought they might direct us where to go to 'sign in ' but that didnt happen. There were no signs to tell us where to go and the workers just continued working without offering any aid. When we finally...

Because we decided we wanted everyone to be able to experience the beauty and healing qualities of this amazing property, we have made it possible for those who can not come as guests to live with us in other capacities. One possibility that works for young people is to come as volunteers. We regret that we could not let you...

I have been to Serenity by the Sea on Galiano island three times. I will be returning again, many times more in the future. My partner and I spent a blissful weekend in the Seaview Haven Chalet, and from the moment we set foot upon the grounds, we felt the harsh energies of the city melt away and such a...
