Found bed in my cabin very thin and uncomfortable, the shower room was absolutely tiny, plus was unable to access wifi in the cabin at all. But the location is great --- near a rocky beach and walking distance to the pizza/coffee shop and marina.

Our cabin was on the waterfront... amazing view of the water and sunsets, with a set of stairs right down to the water. Full kitchen and wood burning fireplace and a huge deck which would be really nice in the summer. Cozy, clean, everything we needed! I will definitely stay here again. It was a perfect place to rejuvenate. Also,...

Arrived 14 Sept 2015 for three days. I was greeted by an enthusiastic ,friendly staff. The cottage overlooking the water was clean and fresh. The walks on the jetty, the great fish and chips and pizza were sooo good. The whole atmosphere including sipping coffee with the local folks just make this place so special. The walking trails were close and...

Our overall experience was disappointed. The campsite despite earlier reviews was poorly cared for and the campsites were small and congested. The pay shower (yes there is one for the entire campsite) was frequently cold and had no water pressure. There were no faucets for the sinks in the bathroom or soap. The garbage was never removed nor were the...

We make Ford's Cove a yearly destination for us and even sometimes we've gone multiple times a year (such as off seasons). Our most recent trip was this past July where we stayed in Cabin #2 (water front). They've removed the Queen and Single in the bedroom for a plush and comfortable King bed. They also replaced the LCD TV...

Smallish but nicely renovated cabins in a well kept campground. Very nice view of the water and right above a spectacular sandstone beach. My wife and I and our 2 little boys stayed a week and loved it. The little store they run down at the pier has an amazing variety of food as well. The owners were friendly as...

The view of the ocean, islands and sunset from our waterfront cottage was beautiful. Such a peaceful spot. The staff were great and the cottage was well-equiped and very comfortable. It is a bit dated, but that is part of the charm. The little marina store is surprisingly well-stocked, with locally made goodies and ingredients for any cooking and meal-prep,...

Ford's Cove cottages are the perfect place to have a romantic getaway with perfect sunsets, and even relaxing swimming off of the warm sandstone rocks. I met my wife there and we go back every year. The cottages have a nice rustic charm with some luxury, and nice decks to sit with a glass of wine, or beer ;) The...
