It was our first time to stay at this campsite and our first experience of the Hornby Island Music and Literary Festival. The campsite had strict rules to follow that made the week so enjoyable with quiet evenings, and mornings (no party animals). The grounds were kept so clean, great recycling and environmentally friendly consciousness. It was wonderful to have...

We spent two days at this campground ... and really enjoyed the clean and spacious campsite. We felt very safe ... and enjoyed the tranquil, quiet setting. The washrooms and showers were clean. We appreciated the careful attention to recycling and the environment. The beach was a bit of a disappointment. And we did feel the cost was quite high...

We have camped at Brad's many times. The campsites are always clean, the recycling depot is perfect and Carol and Laz are always welcoming and helpful. We will be back! The climb down to the beach and back is not for anyone with knee problems but it is an interesting beach.

I was just at this campsite last week and found it to be very clean and friendly. They conserve water and recycle which is great to see. I stayed there for two nights even though I was only planning to stay for one. I did drive around the other campground (Tribune bay) while I was there for my future reference...

A shabby site, dated facilities, stinking toilets, grumpy host, $52 for a pitch for a three man tent. We had no choice due to the ferries. A beautiful island seriously grim camp sites. Ignore this site.

We've been staying here for a week in August every year over the last 12 years. It's a low key, family friendly, private campground. Some sites have power and water ( the online map lists the sites). BDL is a great place to watch spectacular sunsets, looking across the water and over Denman. Other than children in the playground, it's...

I was there in July with my family 3 kids and my wife. . From the get go Laz was a gentleman very willing to help and seemed to be straight to the point.. WiFi worked perfectly although we we directly next to the main building. ... we will be going back next year at the same time.. I always...

Atmosphere is pleasant, owners are fantastic & the sunset views are stunning. This is a favourite to visit every year, and it never disappoints. I would recommend highly. All the convenience you need - showers, power, fast wifi, flushing bathrooms, etc.

What an awful experience camping here in July 2016. One sink for personal bathing produced no hot water and just a trickle of cold. Only one shower (not working). Very smelly pit toilets. And an extremely mean spirited owner who charged me $107 for two nights ( one small tent and one occupant). Stay at Tribune Bay - much nicer...

I didn't believe the other reviews so I thought I would try it. The campground is very tired and VERY expensive for what it is. It needs a lawnmower badly seeing the grass is literally a foot high in a lot of areas. The chairs at the sites are very dirty covered in grime and bird poop. The owner sent...
