Very daggy and out-dated in the pub but good deals and value for money as far as food goes. Deals for every night of the week. $5 cheese burger and chips isn't great but what can you expect for $5! Friendly staff.

Clean rooms, no mustiness with tea/coffee and tv. Efficient bathroom facilities. Accommodation area is separate to the dining and bar area. Had no problem with parking but it would have been nice to have reserved parking.

Nice and clean rooms in a central location to both the Coast and the City. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were surprisingly quiet considering the location. When you stay make sure you grab a meal in the Bistro downstairs it will be worth it. The room did lack a toaster and some plates which means you need... More

Stop for counter lunch on a weekday, lady behind the bar was friendly and helpful. The food was cheap and had quite a large selection of budget meals. I ordered the $7 rump steak with mushroom sauce. I was really happy with the quality and how the steak was cooked. I will go back again and know I can be... More

Have been to this venue several times. The last time was in August 2016. Each time I have been to this hotel I have not been disappointed. The variety of lunch time menu specials makes choosing what to order difficult. The last time I ordered the soup, main course and dessert special, cost $10. All three courses were filling and... Had a great lunch with friends who recommended this pub. Pleasant decor and efficient staff. Different specials every day with a $7 Rump steak and chips every day price! Even the drinks are realistically priced. Three of us had steaks all cooked differently as requested. My wife had calimari which was also done just right. Even when ordering a special... More

The staff when booking was fantastic. Those staff present on arrival and throughout the visit could not have been more helpful. The room was very spacious. The meal in the restaurant was wonderful and affordable.

Had a wonderful time with friends tonight. From when we arrived to the time we left the service was fantastic, the drinks were more than reasonable and the meals were great value. We will certainly be back again soon. Haven't been for a while but everything I see in the changes is positive. Easy to recommend.

Stayed at The Meadowbrook Hotel for 2 nights recently and found it to be clean and tidy and rooms well presented. Staff from reception to cleaning were very friendly and accommodating. Central to all shops literally 2 min walk to new Woolworths and The Coffee Club which we had breakfast 2 mornings and was very nice. Would stay here again.

Great outside area for the kids, lots of room. We had the steak special but there was also a good three course lunch option. Really well priced. Food was what was expected for the cheap prices - serving sizes could have been a little bigger. All in all a good lunch and with a big family it wasn't too expensive.
