My boyfriend and I booked a 3 day/2 night stay and had a great time! Our guide, Francisco, definitely made the adventure worth while. He was very knowledgable and answered all the questions we had for him. The food was very delicious, coffee, tea and water were available 24/7, and the rooms were clean and comfy. One thing that was...

We spent 3 actvity filled days in this lodge and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The place itself was delightful, clean basic lodges, decent food. No electricity in lodges but that was part of the fun of it, torches essential after dark. What makes this place are the guides. Ours was so knowledgeable and seemed to enjoy imparting his knowledge...

A adventure, with hiking in the jungle, fishing and swimming along with piranhas. Experiencing Indians and live in bungalows in the middle of the jungle. I traveled with my family, me my wife and 2 kids. There was no problem at all.. Very interesting and everything was really profesional. Good food and very good service. I recommend it

We booked a 3 night/4 day stay at Cumaceba Lodge expecting it to be within the Pacaya Samiria Reserve as the Piranha Lodge(run by the same company) was but is now closed. My son had stayed at Piranha Lodge 4 years ago and had had a wonderful experience which he wanted us to share. Unfortunately Cumaceba lodge is on the...

Our group appreciated the warm welcome we received here. The water was high during our stay, so we never saw dry ground, which was a unique experience - we had to go everywhere by boat. The room was large but very basic -- I know, it's a jungle experience, but the lack of electricity in the rooms means that there...

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2014 and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide Wilson was knowledgeable, spoke good English and had a good sense of humor too. The food was nice, the fish some of the best we ever had. The highlight of the trip was piranha fishing, great experience. We also saw pink and grey...

I was hoping for something a little less routine and unpredictable. This lodge gave me exactly the opposite. Food was borderline average and there is no opportunity to buy anything extra other thab soft drinks and stale biscuits. There is plenty of competition around this part of the Amazon for lodge goers so do your research. This particular one was...

What a lovely place in the jungle!! It is just so nice to wake up in the morning to sounds of nature...birds, frogs, crickets, rooster, etc. You KNOW you are in the rainforest when you hear them all day long. Our room was clean and the bed was pertty comfortable. The windows look out to the forest of trees and...

We did the 4 night, 5 day piraña tour! It was great but that's because we has a local snake expert on the trip with us!! He taught us a lot, he taught us about the green leaf viper snake! Then he found one for us to see!! The guide was super nice but he was a little quieter so...

From the moment we met at the airport, all the details were organized very well. 'Local taxi' trip to Nauta and boat to the lodge were on time and efficient. The lodge was basic but what do you expect in the jungle? At the lodge the people were very friendly, the food was great and the cold beer very welcome...

“Ask for a hut as far away from the central dining area if you want it as tranquil as possible”

“I had a room very near the common room -- which actually meant it was further away from the other guest rooms and thus very quiet after the electricity was turned off at 10 pm. People in rooms nearer other guests complained a lot about the noise -- you can hear people talking even at normal volume.”
