This is my second stay here with my mother and dog. Our previous stay was in 2011. On both occasions it has surpassed all expectations. The lounge, bedroom and bathroom are all immaculate and cleaned daily whilst you are out. You can park outside your own entrance, which is useful with luggage! Louise and Rob are informative friendly hosts, who...

We stayed here for the 5th time, from 8th to 13th March 2015. Everything was perfect as always - comfortable, cosy, clean, excellent breakfasts, lovely owners, peaceful. We love staying here so much and will return again.

This is the best B & B we have ever stayed at. Rob and Louise are the most genuine and generous hosts you could meet. The tips of where to go and what to do are terribly useful (especially about Chatsworth House) and we have stayed during all four seasons of the year. You will only have to bring the...

Good location - short drive to Matlock etc. Comfortable accommodation and hosts are very obliging. Bedroom rather small and we are not fans of twin beds - we found the public holiday weekend fully booked in and around Matlock - so were happy to go with the twins. Breakfast was excellent, other than my poached egg which had suffered from...

We wanted a base in the south of the peaks to do a bit of walking and relaxation. We found our little oasis in Avondale Farm B&B. Louise and Rob could not do enough for us with helpful suggestions of places to walk and excellent choices to dine in the evening. The annex where we stayed was spotless and homely....

Avondale Farm B&B is an excellent base to explore the peak district. Ourselves and the dog were made extremely welcome on our walking break of the area. This is a perfect location for Bakewell, Matlock, Chatsworth, Dovedale, Tissington, Carsington Water and many dale villages. The attention to detail which Louise provides is second to none, from the torches supplied for...

Avondale Farm is a lovely, quiet place to stay. Small bedroom with single beds and a cosy separate lounge - perfect for friends travelling together. It felt very private as there is only one acconmodation and it´s in a (almost) separate building - only the entrance is shared. Our only problem was that we had to drive to go to...
