The rooms in this hotel a really cramped and not to standard. But the food what you get served during dinner is excellent. So this dinner makes it good to stay. Breakfast was also OK. If we would go back ? For dinner yes. For stay overnight no.

After a long drive up from Sydney it was lovely to be welcomed so warmly by Jodie and her staff, and made instantly at home. The guesthouse is cosy and comfortable with lots of character. There is lots to do locally, and Toby was on hand with great advice on interesting places to go and routes to take. Crackenback is...

Really lovely stay - delicious meals, excellent wine, comfortable bed, bucolic scenes and personable hosts - thank you :) Good location btwn Thredbo for stunning Summer alpine walks and Lake Jindabyne for glorious swims. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxed start to the year.

We had one night to stay in Jindabyne on our recent trip to that beautiful town set on a lake in the Snowy Mountains and we didn't want to waste it. So at about 3pm pulled off the road, got out my trusty iPhone and looked up accommodation in Jindabyne. Most had three stars, but my wife and I wanted...

We spent three nights at this little gem of an establishment from December 6 until the morning of December 9, to celebrate our 31st. wedding anniversary. Our faith in the reviews was not misplaced. We consider ourselves to be well travelled but not travel snobs. I can honestly say that Jodie Evans, the owner manager and her brother are unmatched...

First off, location, location, location - best if you have a car. Halfway between Thredbo and Jindabyne, you can do shopping for food, outdoor wear and eat in less pricey restaurants in Jindabyne without being stuck with overpriced tourist traps in Thredbo. Also, if you don't like being trapped with a whole bunch of other tourists, this option is great....

The room was very sumptuous and quiet with a great view of the surrounding countryside. The quality of the food was top-notch and reasonably priced. The hosts, Toby and Jodie, did their utmost to ensure that every need was fully catered for, to the extent that Toby was up at 5 am on the morning of a big bike ride...

Dined here in a party of four to celebrate a friend's 50th and every plate was a winner. Entrees of sardines, seared tuna were delicious while the mains were at the big flavour and comfort food end of the spectrum, perfect for a wild and cool night in Crackenback. Beef rib in cognac sauce was a meat lover's dream while...
