Simply a lovely environment for relaxing with excellent food, wine and wonderful hosts. Can't wait to return during winter and sample the wares again in true alpine style. Well located for all activities.

Stayed here two nights for our honeymoon. Lovely farm house. Rooms were cosy with a view of the garden. It could use a good dusting off though. Besides that service was great. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order. Because there was a gathering in the restaurant that night, they offered to arrange a romantic dinner for just the...

We stayed mid-week at Crackenback, arriving to a welcoming open fire just as a flurry of snow swirled in from up the mountain. Loved the eclectic furnishings in the guest lounge, loved the comfy beds and beautiful bed linen. Toby Evans is a welcoming and helpful host, especially generous in his advice on further places to visit on our trip....

We stayed here over Easter and had a really relaxing time. The rooms were small with high ceilings and beautifully decorated. We had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, with lovely linen and a very soft and cosy doona. There was good heating for the chilly nights. The ensuite bathroom included a tea and coffee making area that...

Three couples were thrilled to find Crackenback farm which had been booked for us by a friend. Toby Evans was a generous and charming host, we all felt it was just like staying with friends. The dinner was first class - the broth with duck ravioli delicious, as was my pork belly main. Friends enjoyed the salmon and oysters for...

Food was delicious with 5 star service and great atmosphere. This restaurant is a hidden gem, wait staff suggestions were great and tried things I wouldn't necessarily order. This is a must if your staying in Jindabyne or heading to the snow.

We stayed at Crackenback Farm Guesthouse for a weekend in November. The weather in the Snowy Mountains was beautiful and made our stay at the Farm even better. The room was well appointed with a comfy bed, hot shower, iron & ironing board. The guesthouse only has a few rooms and this makes for a cosy, relaxed environment. Common areas...

For our recent trip to Mount Kosciuszko we wanted to try somewhere different as we didn't really want to stay in the often overpriced and dingy places in Thredbo village, and the more student-focused places around Jindabyne didn't appeal either. Crackenback was a good compromise, being closer to the National Park entrance than Jindy, and not as expensive as Thredbo...

Jodie and Steve's warmth and attentiveness made our stay too short, but we'll be back. They poured us recommended wines and shared amazing stories until far too late, went out of their way constantly to provide every comfort, the restaurant was unbelievable, breakfast perfect and the whole place felt like a very dear fun-loving close friend's home. Best duck I've...

Our stay here was too short - 3 nights and 4 days of skiing at Perisher were just not enough to experience it fully. The staff are super friendly and the food as part of our package was incredible! Hearty portion sizes and amazing matched wines. We lost power one night due to high winds and the staff rewarded us...
