We stayed in the main part of the house as two families and there was plenty of room with each bedroom including an ensuite which was great. The underfloor heating was wonderful as it kept the house cosy all the time, which you need in winter, and the drying room was great for all the ski gear. We were however...

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I agree the underfloor heating keeps the house lovely and warm. With the bedrooms it is great for each to have the en suite bathroom. With the bath we made the tough decision not to include one as this is a regional property and we are on tank water and...

My wife and I have just come back from a long weekend staying here. We were skiing in Perisher which is just about 40 minutes from this place. Thredbo is closer. We left at 8am and it was an easy run in with ample parking available. As it was just the 2 if us we stayed in the 1 bedroom...

HI Dan Thanks for the feedback....I'm really glad you enjoyed your stay with us in the Retreat. It is lovely accommodation and very comfortable for two, certainly plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Sounds like you also enjoyed some snow fun at Perisher. We hope to see you again some time. Andrea

Andrea's White House is no longer a B&B, but is still a relaxing place to stay after a day's skiing. We stayed in the 1Brm apartment attached to the main house. It has everything you need, with a massive kitchen, log fire, underfloor heating and comfy bed. You get some noise from the main house as the kitchen adjoins their...

This property is amazing! With 5 bedrooms (all with ensuites), two huge living areas, huge kitchen and huge dining area it is fantastic for both families or a group of friends. We arrived to find it warm and snug inside with underfloor heating and the option to use the double sided fireplace if needed. Plenty of wood is supplied. There...

We stayed here outside the ski season as a weekend break from Canberra. It's a beautiful place, and one we'd seen glimpses of through the trees on the way to Thredbo without knowing what it was. We were B&B novices, and this was a great way to dip our toes in the water. Plenty of privacy but also a lovely...

I agree with all the other reviews, the White House combines great design, modern elegance, loads of comfort AND genuine hospitality. There is a sign over the fireplace that says 'Arrive as guests, leave as friends'. I would suggest we were friends long before it was time to leave. Paul is a real people person and is happy to share...

We arrived Friday night after a long drive and were greeted by our lovely host Paul who really made the stay. The fireplace was lit, music was playing and the lounge perfect for a wine or two. The four guest rooms are cosy and comfy with lovely en-suites. Two of the rooms look straight out onto the beautiful Australian alpine...

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was fabulous. Accommodation in the area is notoriously expensive and bad quality. Andrea's White House was everything we were looking for. Bedrooms have comfortable king size beds, and lovely little extras like robes & slippers. The common area has lounges and a fireplace and there is also a dining area with...

If you only ever stay in one B&B in your life, stay at this one. I simply cannot praise this place enough - it genuinely was the perfect place to stay in the Snowy Mountains. Hospitality was warm and welcoming and they will do anything for you - recommend restaurants, ski hire (where you get a discount!) in fact even...

Loved the lounge with open fire, books, games & port; best place to relax after a day on the slopes or just sightseeing. Heating comes from under the floor, no electric blanket, no tea making & no internet but we didn't miss it! Loads of fresh air & great company, Pauls' top breakfasts set us up for a full day....
