I was taken to East Lodge for afternoon tea for my birthday. We were greeted at the door and received a warm and friendly welcome. We chose to sit in the conservatory. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Coffee and tea was hot and plentiful. A range of delicious finger sandwiches were served including some vegetarian ones for myself. There...

Stayed here for a couple of days on a short break in the Peaks. Lovely clean room with very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast is quiet varied and good value at £12.50 pp. The hotel gardens are also spectacular. As our rooms weren't ready till 3 and we arrived at noon we took advantage of the restaurant and had lunch...

Champagne tea to celebrate my birthday was excellent. We sat in the lovely gardens by the lake in the sunshine. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and everything of the highest quality. Lovely.

Beautiful grounds and really good food and extensive wine list. Good central location for touring round. Very welcoming and friendly service. Nice and quiet. Only possible negative was with it being midweek, the restaurant was quiet and we rattled around a bit (as it's probably large to cater for wedding parties) and it lacked a bit of atmosphere. Food and...

This hotel is in the perfect location half way between the white & dark peaks and just down the road from Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Bakewell. Our room was very spacious and cosy, the staff provide a professional but friendly service and the grounds are lovely and you can sit out on the terrace in the summer. There are 12...
