Quick trip to Bristol for a wedding, hotel located in middle of roundabout nice and clean for a nights stay and by M32 not too noisy. Lidl close by and not much else. Subway and Costa on same site. Picked due to free parking.

On arrival it was ok, the evening reception staff are probably the worst I have ever seen, very unprofessional and were not helpful. The room was facing the carpark so you needed to keep the curtains closed. The room stat is locked so you can’t adjust it, it’s far too warm. This hotel is ok for the builders who stay here just not for couples. Rough and ready reception staff is very off putting, considering that’s the first impression when you walk through the door.

Stayed 2 nights, There were issues, stains on the TV, bathroom bin not empied from previous customers. Shower gel holder orange mould around it. Pillowcases stained and not fresh. The room is the typical Travel lodge room, but does make us wonder how the cleaning is being done. too many issues here, retraining needs to take place with the staff to ensure the simple things we expect are presented.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Travelodge Filton. The beds were really comfortable. Caroline in the dining room made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful in making sure there was plenty of vegan food for us at breakfast.

Had a standard room which is very basic. Good location for what we needed. Good facilities close by. Quite noisy but to be expected given the location. Rooms very warm! Don't like shower curtains! It is a very basic room unless you pay extra for a super room!

It was just as expected. Nothing extraordinary but it certainly doesn't need to be like that. Cheap compared with other places in the area as of 25.05.23. Good stay with a good breakfast package in the morning.

I have used a number of travel lodge hotels until my last one in Bristol. The staff member who activated my key did not do it well. I walked up the stairs to my room and I could not enter my room. I was lucky there was a staff on the same floor who opened my door and offered to get the key properly activated which she did. On the day after working night shift, I was in a hurry to have a breakfast and go and sleep. I paid at the bar for my breakfast and I was seated having my breakfast where a female staff member approached and asked for my room number. The same staff member came with a sheet of paper and told me there was no breakfast with my bookings. I felt a bit embarrassed but I decided not to make any fuss about it. I just told her I have paid for my breakfast at the bar. There were a number of staff in the kitchen and a couple in reception where I am sure this lady went to pick up the paper with the names of the guests on it. She could have enquire from her colleagues if I have paid for my breakfast before coming to tell me that I have not paid for breakfast. There was no toilet roll left in the room when I was going out in the evening for work and I reported this to the lady in reception who promised to put a toilet roll in the room. The following morning on return, there was still no toilet roll in the room and I had to come down into the reception to get toilet rolls myself.

Pictures are my review please read my comments that for some reason weren’t up loaded 🤷🏻‍♂️ the pictures are before and after concerns were raised…..i wouldn’t blame the staff on hand as I spoke directly to management who was conducting a interview regarding the member of staff on bail- really really bad management. Pictures say it all

A reasonably priced, comfy and clean room. If you just want somewhere cheap to lay your head then ideal. Only downside was the road noise as on busy road. No fuss and easy to book online and very easy to check in

The state and condition of rooms well below par but will be subject to overhaul in the near future (according to the interim Manager). Plenty of parking space although not strictly exactly adjacent (but it is free). The location is faultless and we will return on that basis alone. Shame that there is no flexibility / bargaining in pricing for last minute booking for weekend into weekday stay due to reliance on online booking.
