While the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating along with the restaurant staff, all very smiley and welcoming. The room was big and airy but unfortunately also rather dusty, I don't mind a little bit of dust as it is a given that it's going to settle after a clean but the lamps were dusty, the ledge in the bathroom was dusty and when using the hairdryer I blew a very large amount of dust off the top of the canvases (I assume...). For the price we paid for the room you would expect the cleanliness to be of a better standard. We came down for breakfast on our last day at around 9:45am (we were told it was served until 10:30) and the breakfast buffet was very sparse and they started taking food back into the kitchen around 10! because of this we weren't able to have a full breakfast which is annoying as we'd specifically paid extra for the breakfast, we had to go out elsewhere and pay again for breakfast. We were visiting for my birthday and invited friends to the room for some drinks, I do admit we were singing loudly at around midnight but thought the 'security person' was extremely rude and intimidating on how he handled the situation. He opened our door without even knocking and with me and my friend being young females we felt very vulnerable, he told us this was our last warning and to keep the noise down as he has received multiple complaints. We were not warned before this incident and didn't appreciate being threatened to be kicked out of the hotel at midnight. I apologized multiple times and promised to keep the noise down but even after this he was still very rude, there was no need for it and because of the entry without knocking it makes me question how much the hotel valued the safety and respect/trust received by their customers..It's such a shame I've had to write such a bad review as I've had very pleasant stays in other Radisson blu's before.

We stayed for one night on Saturday, the hotel has a really good city location and close to bars and restaurants which is why we chose it. Our room was a Superior double room which was a good size, however is was very tired and needed some attention. Paint had flicked off the wall and screws were visible through the plasterboard. There was a floor to ceiling window running along the one side of the room and the view was literally a wall to another building. Annoyingly one of the panes of glass was loose and because it was windy that day, kept banging against the frame!
The bed was very comfy though.
The bathroom was of ample size and the towels were soft. The bath curtain (another glass pane) did not do its job properly so when we showered the water went everywhere all over the floor and so we had to use other towels to mop it up.
Breakfast the next morning was great, very tasty and they really do cater for everyone.
I feel the hotel needs a bit of Tlc to bring it back up the standard of fee you are asking for.
Great city location.

Used the Radisson Blu for a one night stop-over in Bristol for a family meal and couldn't fault the hotel. We had a room on the 13th floor with a brilliant view over the city. The location is slap bang in the middle of Bristol with the harbourside right on its doorstep. The room was spot on and very well soundproofed, didn't hear a thing from the inside or the outside. We got the room in the January sale at a great price, which included an excellent breakfast. All the staff we spoke to were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely use again for any Bristol trips.

We stayed here for three nights and the best I can say is we had a good view and the bed was comfortable. For a supposedly four star superior hotel and a superior room it was dire. The lighting in the room was shocking, there was no plug or charging points near the bed, the milk and sugar for coffee must have been on rations due to covid as we had to ask on three separate occasions for it. Nobody came near the room on day two so no cleaning or clean towels or milk and sugar. There was no bin in the bedroom so you had to wander into the bathroom with your t-bags or leave it on the dressing table. At premier inns rooms are cleaned daily, Tea and coffee is free 24/7 And the beds are excellent ( at half the price).

Stayed here this weekend for one night and we had the room with the city view and it did not disappoint!
I was skeptical about staying in a hotel with the current situation but i should never have been! The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were amazing. Hand sanitizer was provided in the rooms and any request to the staff was dealt with so quickly.

The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy. Also the shower pressure was amazing :)

Although the restaurant and bar was closed, room service was available and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area open.

The one thing that made our trip was the hot air balloons floating past!

I’d give this no stars if I could. Arrived late evening, pulled up outside and went to reception to ask about parking to be told “The car park is currently closed” That was literally it, I had to ask about alternative parking which is a good walk away and we really struggled with all our luggage. Checked in by some uninterested staff member and asked for a credit card for any charges, I’m not entirely sure how they have the nerve to do this at the moment as everything is closed, no room service, no bar open and we had to ask for food, waited for AGES for anyone to come and seat us, just stood there and was ignored. The “menu” was dire, we were told it was “limited” due to current restrictions. Limited doesn’t really cover it, panini, pizza or burger. Not what you really want after a long day travelling. The room left a lot to be desired, luckily I came armed with cleaning materials. The carpet is a disgrace, absolutely filthy, the pillows are the worst we have ever come across, flat and stained, the luggage rack/seating area is beyond dirty and the curtains have all sorts of horrible dirty stains on them. I’ve put my own kitchen roll down on all surfaces before I’d put any of my belongings out and feel the need to wash my hands every time I open the curtains or touch anything. The phone in the room is thick with dust, you’d think at a time like this when extra cleaning is supposed to be done that at least the basics would be clean. The furniture is disgusting, old, tatty and stained, you honest,y would not want to sit on the chair. The headboard is broken, stained and just generally filthy. The bathroom actually isn’t too bad, more modern and clean...ish! The staff are miserable, probably because they have to come here in the dark, miserable reception area, only one guy acknowledged us once and said good morning when we walked past, the others don’t even bother looking up. How they can charge top whack for this is actually astonishing, daylight robbery, save your money and definitely stay elsewhere....anywhere!

On arrival we checked in as usual and were given room 1101. Prior to arrival we had asked for twin beds and our request had been confirmed but 1101 was made up as a double.

So we asked for the twin. The reception staff tried to put us off by saying that they were twin beds joined together but I insisted and we then had a twenty minute wait whilst a room was made up as a twin.

The room 1301, was quiet, clean, comfortable, spacious and with a harbour view so that was fine although not very well lit. There were good bedside lights, a table lamp at the desk but no other room lights. We slept well.

There was no restaurant or bar service but there was a room service menu. Nothing appealed on the room service menu and we finished up getting a deliveroo takeaway from a Greek restaurant close by the hotel.

The bathroom was fine but it was a bit of a struggle working out how to use the shower. Slightly complicated tap system.

We had to book a breakfast time in advance - that worked well. Cereals and coffee were from the buffet but the full English breakfast was table service. The breakfast was OK but the plate was only lukewarm and the food likewise. Otherwise nothing wrong with it - just a bit uninspiring.

We had a very good deal at £83.81 for B&B for two of us. The location is good for local tourism but the nearest car park is a couple of hundred yards away and the hotel car park wasn't open.

We needed a room for the night without frills and we got that. We wouldn't rush to go back but it was very good value for money.

The location is absolutely superb, right down by the waterfront with easy access to the MShed, Bristol Museum, the university, and a plethora of good eating places.

Room was decent - clean, airy, comfortable beds - with spectacular views over the city

Breakfast, apart from the de rigeur tasteless tomatoes, was decent enough, although limited for those unable to eat dairy (there really is no excuse for not having margarine, forcing those that can't/don't have dairy to eat dry toast, especially as none of the pastries are dairy-free).

A good value city centre hotel.

Stayed on a Friday for one night with my wife as we were attending a gig at the nearby O2 Academy.

The service we received from check in to check out was great, the staff were really professional polite and helpful and the whole process was very slick.

Our room was excellent with some stunning views, temperature great and spotlessly clean and tidy. The bathroom also excellent, no complaints at all.

The room was very quiet, no noise to be heard either inside or out.

Breakfast was tasty, lovely hot food freshly cooked and plenty of it.

I had read reviews advising of lift issues, yes one of the lifts was being serviced, however the other was working fine and the service lift was also made available if required. We had no issues at all, waiting no more than a minute or so for the lift when it was called.

A special mention to Mariangela who sorted out a couple of requests ahead of our visit, she was amazing and a credit to the company.

Without doubt we will stay again when visiting Bristol. The hotel is a great place with really friendly and professional staff.

Thanks for a lovely visit.

Very disappointing stay, expensive for what it is. Check in was slow, Receptionist tried to charge me £100 more than the price I had booked my room at! Had already read that the lifts were out of order. Forced to use the service lift as on the 11th floor and had a pram with a 16 month old with us. One lift for a hotel of this size just doesn’t suffice and its simply unacceptable that the lifts have been undergoing maintenance as long as they have! Reception say a couple days but if you look at reviews its been alot longer and still ongoing!

Sharing the lift with staff including domestic staff and their baskets of dirty laundry isn’t acceptable especially during a pandemic! Because the wait is so long, people cram into one space making a complete mockery of any covid safety regulations. I felt very unsafe and vulnerable.

The room itself is full of stains, worn furniture and unluckily for us a broken bathroom door handle. Facilities include one coffee sachet and two teabags for two adults!

View is stunning (11th floor, superior room with city view). However had the worst nights sleep ever! Completely aware of our location but the nightclub music…base and vibration levels we had to endure until gone 4am was very unexpected.

Bed uncomfortable with crinkly, noisy bedding and flat pillows. Bathroom floods because shower screen is insufficient to cover the area.

We went out for an evening meal and when we came back the entrance had unsavoury people hanging round. Rowdy drunk people in the bar spilling over and rubbish on the floor.

I have often visited Bristol and looked at the Radisson Blu’s but been unable to afford it. I was lucky to book a room for £180 as a treat for my Partner’s bday. Massive waste of money though and I will never stay here again ever nor would I recommend it!

There is valet parking (around £25 a night). But when you get there they do suggest an alternative public car park if you don’t want valet parking.

Good question. There is an NCP on Charlotte Street and that could be cheaper... not sure to be honest. It’s then a short walk, but as this is absolutely in the city centre it’s going to be expensive.
