We usually go for Premier Inns or similar but the Marriott was available for almost the same price so we treated ourselves and really enjoyed it. Big room, proper nice bathroom with shampoo etc, pool and spa, an air of comfort. We went to the late night bar after our concert and enjoyed the ambience. Would stay there again; also...

As a surprise, I booked a long weekend at this Hotel for my wife's birthday. We were booked to see Billy Elliott on the Saturday evening & I wanted something a little upmarket to make the weekend special! How disappointing it turned out to be. I could write pages but to summarise is probably more appropriate: - Room Service Used...

Stayed here mid week was lovely overall but have stayed in much much better hotels for the price. Felt like you were paying for the brand not an experience. Rooms were nice & comfy but missing something you know a bit of zing. Could of been in any hotel anywhere didn't feel special for the cost of the room. Rooms...

The Marriott and SPG clubs have just merged and I organised my link after I had checked in but reception were great and organised everything as though I was a platinum member with Marriott - which I am now! Free drink at the bar, free wifi etc. The only disappointing part was the reception supervisor refused to waive my £16...

We stayed here in 2 rooms as a family for two nights. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms well appointed though a bit tired. Location was perfect for a short stay in Bristol- plenty to see and do. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Would recommend staying here.

Didn't get the rooms that we had requested when making the reservation. On booking I asked for adjoining rooms and rang at least four times to get it confirmed between booking and date of reservation. Each time it was confirmed we had the interconnecting rooms. We arrived in two groups. First group were told we had interconnecting rooms. Second group...

We booked the Marriott in Bristol as it was the nearest hotel to our concert venue. The room looked clean and tidy but the waste bin hadn't been emptied and contained the rubbish from the previous guest. Not the end of the world but it doesn't give you much confidence in the standard of Marriott's house keeping. The biggest problem...

Was a surprise gift from the family. A nice room but is in need of upgrading as it is looking tired compared to the Bristol hotel we regularly stay at. All you want from a hotel at a reasonable cost. Friendly staff. Underground car park has very tight bays and is a risk if you drive anything bigger than a...
