Organsied as a surprise for my daughter as she and her partner deserved a break: Purchased flowers, champers and chocolates to be in the room when my daughter arrived - they forgot depsite all the phone calls - and there were many. The breakfast was not hot and the rare steak was medium which is such a school boy error...

Hotel is the usual Marriott standard set in an old historic building. Reception and dining areas all very grand and nice. Leisure facilities good as well with very nice swimming pool. Bedrooms not bad size but I think the bathrooms need a refurb as dated. Our room had a noisy adjoining door as well which I didn't like. Would stay...

Great location and easy parking, it's very dated but well appointed, where given a comp upgrade upon request as our first room was overlooking the inner courtyard roof, ended up with a nice view over the dock area. Good breakfast selection and helpful staff. Can't grumble really, it's just not got a cool vibe in anyway.

Lovely hotel with lovely friendly staff. Perfect location right next to the waterfront with lots of places to go and eat, drink, shop and browse. Stayed for one night and had full use of the leisure facilities which was extremely relaxing and had a nice ambience. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and again staff were extremely friendly. I would...

Firstly, Superb staff at reception, and the dining room, drawing room, very helpful and hard working. The place is roomy high ceilings, slightly opulent Victorian style. The rooms facing the courtyard are quiet but a little dark in autumn/winter due to the colour scheme. The place is a little 'hollow', doors can be heard closing easily in the bedrooms. Breakfast...

Favourite city hotel, Bristol is my nearest city for art/culture/shopping and the Marriott never disappoints. Swimming pool is open early, followed by plentiful & tasty breakfast. Lounges are divine for relaxing with a drink or bar meal ( v generous portion!)

Nothing was too much trouble for Felicity on reception and concierge staff on my arrival and for the duration of my stay. Their professionalism, efficiency and friendliness was first class. The thoughtfulness shown by Craig and Natalie in organising a welcoming gift was very much appreciated. If you are seeking the ambience of elegance, style and warmth then the Marriott...

stayed several weeks in this hotel. Although the rooms are sold in different classes, there is not really a big difference in them. Some have a sofa, some a chair. Some a corner bath, some a straight one :) Breakfast is really good, many dishes are made-to-order, although that isn't the fastest option for the busy business men. Quality of...

Opted to stay out of Cardiff for the RWC games involving Ireland and to commute via car/train so chose this classic hotel, drawing rooms, grand ballrooms, roman baths/pool in the basement. Rooms are nice and spacious, plumbing a tad noisy and the pillows we're not great allthough there were plenty of them so eventually got the mix right. In Room...
