Marriott's are all about consistency of their offering and this one doesn't disappoint in this respect. Grand building, with pleasant bar and reception areas. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed, if not particularly recently refurbished. I was on the top floor and although the window was small, I had a nice view over the docks. Location is fantastic for...

Stayed here for a night with hubby as a birthday treat. The building is beautiful and is the perfect location for visiting city centre bars and restaurants. There are 3 or 4 levels of underground parking, accessed from the front of the hotel, for which there is a charge. We had a superior room which was nicely decorated and spotlessly...

Me and my boyfriend only stayed here for a night, it was pricey but definitely worth the money! Man at the reception was so friendly and approachable, everywhere was immaculate with amazing decor! Marble and chandeliers everywhere 😍 the room & bathroom were lovely and generously sized with a huge tv and a massive king sized bed!

Apart from a little glitch when we tried to book in and had to wait 30 minutes or so at 9:00 pm, the hotel is to be commended at the style and cleanliness of the rooms. Unfortunately our view was the top of a glass house and the window's were locked, and not the one booked for us,something about air...

I stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. This is a beautiful hotel centrally located near to the water with all the restaurants and bars. Our room was lovely as was all the hotel. Immaculately presented, helpful staff, great bar, God quality food. I would definitely stay again.

Arrived at hotel and parked in hotel car park, plenty of spaces over several parking levels. Entered the hotel through back entrance which takes away from the beautiful frontage of the building so be sure to go out front and take a look. Beautiful old building but immaculately maintained. Reception was prompt, friendly and welcoming. We went up to our...

We booked the Marriott for one night as a surprise for our children - their first time in a hotel. We were all made to feel very welcome, the room was perfect size for the 4 of us, beds very comfortable. We made good use of the pool, hot tub, steam room & sauna. Pleased with being able to use...

The facilities are kept quite clean however the bed is very uncomfortable. I payed £160 for one night for me and my partner but I don't think it was worth that at all! The drinks are over priced; £2.25 for a 200ml Coke!!! Had a poor nights sleep because of how hard and uncomfortable the bed was, the quilt was...

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Marriot and, while no means the cheapest 4 * hotel in the city, it remains our favourite for so many reasons. The location is fantastic and the added benefit of undercover car parking is a real plus. We had a 3 night stay and booked their special weekend package of...
