This concept and type of accommodation worked really well for us when we stayed overnight recently in one of the superior double rooms on a room only basis (free upgrade). The place is very clean & cozy and has the benefit of a microwave, fridge & crockery along with a cafetiere & ground coffee. Steve is an excellent host and...

Spent ages trying to find a place to stay at a reasonable price with not much luck. A friend then recommended this B&B and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The accommodation was clean, private, very comfortable and in an excellent location. The owner Steve was also very helpful and accommodating, we will definitely be returning.

We attended a family wedding locally and booked here as it was within walking distance to the reception venue. The room on a bed and beverage rate was clean well appointed and fabulously ideal for what we needed. Steve had home the extra mole to ensure we were happy with the booking by allowing us to book in really early....

Very happy with our stay at the bright & airy Ferndale Mews. We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable room. Appreciated the fresh flowers & cafetière with fresh coffee. Good location for the Downs, easy parking & easy access with codes rather than keys. Recommended.

Very clean and cared for. Private and very Secure. Slept soundly thanks to a very comfortable bed and there was not a sound to be heard. Thought I was out country! The room/bedsit has everything you need, an invite to help yourself to a variety of tea & fresh milk in the fridge was a welcome site. Close to shops,...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely. The room was really nice with everything you need. Even fresh milk in the fridge! They were so accommodating as we had vintage scooters and needed a safe place to put them for the night. This was no problem atall. Would recommend to anyone

Lovely little hideaway, very clean, up to date, private, close to shops in the village. Like being in your own little bedsit. Parking is on the street which is quite hilly, be careful my wing mirror got clipped. I stayed for two nights visiting friends in the area. All in all a lovely peaceful hideaway, can't complain.

A clean, great value room to stay with good local facilities. You get codes for doors before you arrive so access is easy any time of the day or night. Bedroom was clean an tidy, and the WC with wet room set up worked well. We have stayed here twice and both times went well. If you don't fancy driving...

I stayed here a little while ago as I was on a business trip in Bristol. We turned up very late in the evening. Often when I turn up late I feel guilty for keeping the owners up late waiting for my arrival but this place was different. With excellent communication I was able to let myself in safely using...
