My wife and I spent a Sunday night at Number38 and loved it. The hotel is well located near the culinary centre of Bristol, is extremely well appointed, has very professional and friendly staff and they serve great breakfasts. All in all a great place to stay. The hotel is located on the side of a hill and so has...

Beautiful building, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast including gluten free options for coeliacs. Number Thirty Eight is just perfect. We had one of there smallest rooms but it was really well appointed with lovely touches such as the radio and fluffy robes. Well located for Clifton and Bristol Zoo. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely B&B, very professional staff. We were in room 3 which was gorgeous, massive bathroom with fabulous views. My only minor gripe is that the whole place was so flippin warm, though I'm sure many would see this as a positive. I wouldn't mind but it was v windy when we visited hence opening the window meant wind whistling through...

Really can't fault this hotel. Stayed here the night before my wedding and a couple of nights afterwards and the West Loft Suite was absolutely perfect. The staff were extremely accommodating with a number of hairdressers/make up artists/bridesmaids coming in and out and made the whole process so special. The decor is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Honestly...

We stayed here last night as a surprise for my partners birthday and it did not disappoint! The booking process was so easy and Polly who was emailing me was very helpful. We were able to have early access to the room, a parking permit for Monday morning and a later check out if we wanted it. I also requested...

Stayed at Number Thirty-Eight for one night only - this is a lovely place - great location up on the Downs - 15 minutes walk from the lovely Clifton Village and the magnificent Gorge and Suspension Bridge. Lovely welcome from the staff, with our bags taken to our room on the first floor. We chose a room at the rear...

We stayed at the hotel the night of our wedding, and because of this, they provided me with a key to the room a couple of days before as well as the ability to pre-order our breakfast. They were very accompdating to us and the food was very good, never had scrambled eggs like it before! A great start to...
