This is a wonderful hotel - comfortable , clean, amazing staff and extremely good value. The Rodney hotel also offers single rooms (good size), and this is a bonus. Conveniently located in Clifton. I would recommend.

Staff were helpful and very friendly. Room comfortable. Breakfast adequate but not spectacular! We were in lower ground floor flat. This is directly under entrance door just off main road. Could get noisy at night time.

I was booked into the Rodney Hotel by the organizers of the conference I attended. It was a great choice. I arrived early and wasn't able to get into my room, but the staff provided me with access to a space where I could change into my running clothes and stored my luggage. This was indicative of the service that was provided during my short stay. Breakfasts were excellent and the room was comfortable. Highly recommended.

Our team of staff here are really helpful and will always try to accommodate during your stay, we are happy to know this was the case! Great stay at The Rodney. We were there with 2 dogs and the staff were really accomodating and also were great with the dogs. Nice room with a big window, good bathroom and nice toiletries provided. Comfy bed all good! We didn't eat in the hotel as we were visiting friends but the food we saw others eating looked really nice. Great for dogs with a little garden out front and a bigger one outside at the back which was more secure. Great location really near some semi pedestrianised streets with great cafe's and small shops and about an 8 minute walk to views of the suspension bridge! Thanks for having us

The location of the hotel is excellent. The booking experience was easy and all the reception staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel bedrooms are in need of refurbishment as the decor is tired and dated. The headboard was falling off and there was a lot of dust on the skirting boards. The cooked breakfast was very good but the buffet selection was limited and sparse. We had to ask for cups and find our own cutlery.

The room and hotel were clean, staff were all super helpful and friendly and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also good and service was quick. Furniture in the room could do with an update (a bit student dorm cheap with peeling laminate), but as it was so clean and comfortable that was less of a concern. It's also in a great location with lots of quality restaurants in walking distance. Will definitely stay here next time I'm working in Bristol.

Was back for a school reunion so booked a single room. This was comfortable and had everything you needed, although didn't spend much time there. Parking was pretty simple to arrange with a permit supplied for the Saturday night at £9. Will stay next time I am in Clifton

Super, super pleasant team. Watch your alloys on the pavement outside! Clean and presentable rooms, comfy bed, too soft for me personally, but that’s just choice. Stay here again for sure in the future make sure you stay here too as you won’t be disappointed.

Small and friendly hotel with a lovely breakfast. The breakfast menu is limited in its options, but all of them are delicious. It's close to Clifton attractions, and the bus from the train station stops right in front of the hotel. Access to the city center is also easy.
