Single room was adequate although the carpet could have done with a clean, but the en suite shower room was poor, the fittings were cheap and the shower was pathetic, so little pressure the water barely came out of the shower head and the control was so poor it was difficult to find the actual point when the temperature went...

Although we received a lovely welcome from the owner's son, and the guesthouse was well appointed and very clean, they let themselves down on the 'extras' and breakfast. The breakfast was very 'cheap', with a limited selection of cereals in large bowls, one choice of juice, and a very cheap range of spreads. There was no 'local information' file in...

Situated on the edge of Durdham Downs, this guest house is ideal for both long and short stays. The room I stayed looks exactly like the picture advertised and being a regular to traveller to Bristol, makes a welcome change from the regular chains. You know the ones! Breakfast is made to order and served in a nicely decorated lounge,...

Stayed at Westbury for a night whilst on a Land's End to John O'Groats cycle ride. The owners wer very nice letting me store my bike inside the house overnight, breakfast was very good, and the room was great! They also did a little laundry for me as well. Easy walking distance of local pubs and shops, would definitely stay...

We have stayed here twice in the same room whilst visiting family nearby. Karen is very welcoming and friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean and spacious with plenty of storage for a short stay. The house has not been interfered with too much, so retains a lot of its original features, and there is a lovely garden to the...

Stayed in single room. It is fair to say the carpet could do with a replace and the shower cubicle too BUT for me that did not detract. this is a beautiful property in a fab location. The people are very nice, as is the breakfast. The bed was comfy. The place was clean. I'll be back for sure.

On my arrival I was given a friendly welcome by Karen the landlady and my bike safely stored. The single room was somewhat tired and the stained carpet in need of replacement. Tea / coffee and bottled water present. Good choice of TV channels and adequate wifi speed. The cooked breakfast was really nothing to write home about, as was...

I stayed here in June, it's a very comfortable guesthouse, they have a veggie breakfast option should you wish it. Very good location for bus stops, high street. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at this guesthouse for 2 nights whilst visiting Bristol. We found it online and made our decision based on other TA reviews etc. We were not disappointed. I would make the following comments: 1, Great location and walking distance from the shops and bars 2, Bus stop just outside taking you direct into the city 3, The owner...

Elegant, light and airy victorian villa, with pretty front garden. Exceptionally clean throughout. Our room had all essentials, hairdryer, T.V. tea/coffee making equipment. Plenty of drawer+ wardrobe space( + hangers!) Clean adequate en suite shower room, with toiletries supplied. Lovely traditional comfortable bed, a light and airy room facing the rear of the property. The large dining room, with bay...
