Unhappy with my stay, no receipt given when specifically asked for a reciept. Unhappy also as on the 3rd night (after prior booking 4 NIGHTS) was told my room was booked out to someone else, without warning. Consequently i was told to basically find another place to stay for my last night in the area. Breakfast is served in the...

this being a stopover to Plymouth I found the bb interesting. I was met by a east European guy who was friendly and appeared to own or manage the place with his wife. the initial entrance feel was what you would imagine as a entrance to and without sounding snobby a low down establishment. I was shown my room and...

I was taking my daughter to an event in Bristol and did not want to spend a fortune staying near the Venue. So we opted for the outskirts. The place was easy to find and had good free parking. We were shown to our room and it was really a pleasant room. The main room had a wardrobe, lift up...

When I finally found the horseshoe, it was located next door to a licensed sex shop! Interesting! Free car park plenty of room, friendly guy checked me and showed me to my room out the back, was shocked how nice it was, clean, tidy, massive double bed for 1 and very comfy. Tv had no signal and wifi worked well....

Stayed last night, after booking the night before, and got the last room available, which i was a little concerned about, as i thought i might get the worse room in the Hotel. Travelled from London, and got a Taxi from Bristol Parkway station, which was less than £10. Arrived around 9pm, and received a warm welcome. and Good cooked...

Free car park on site which is ideal. Good cooked breakfast available for an extra cost which is brought to your room at a time convenient to you (between 7am- 9am). Room was clean and tidy; although the towels were far too rough and could probably do with being replaced. Freeview television available in the room, as well as tea/coffee...

The exterior looks a bit non descript. As the name suggests it used to be a pub. We didn't require breakfast. It is spotlessly clean, it is basic, coffee and tea in the room only saw the one person who showed us to our room, he was quite pleasant. Left the key in the room when we left in the...

With an appearance slightly non description at first sight, this pub surprises as soon as the music starts It features great rock bands which get customers dancing straight away. There is a lively outdoors area at the front and a private garden at the back. Drinks are good and the menu traditional.

Stayed here overnight with my partner & our dig in room 11 (separate annexe). Facilities were brand new & fantastic, room & en-suite very clean, TV signal needs improving but otherwise excellent. There is a secure patio area in the courtyard out the back for the dogs to do their business in, & again very clean. Breakfast is delivered to...

The Horseshoe in Gloucester Road North Bristol was a big disappointment. The rooms are pretty good, having been done up recently. But it advertises itself on its website, and also on the property itself as "The Horseshoe Bed and Breakfast". While we were there, no breakfasts were available and in fact no-one was there! I don't think the owners realise...
