With my daughter having surgery at the Spire Hospital I needed to find a place to stay over night. The Belgrave is only 5 minutes from the Hospital on a well lit road, which when leaving the hospital late and being a female on my own was important. On arriving back to my room it was welcoming, very spacious and...

I am so pleased I stayed at The Belgrave. Just down the street from the BOVTS, where my daughter studies, it was extremely convenient-- but it also has a nice homey feel, and is in a lovely area, both important for a woman on her own.

My daughter and I stayed last night at this homely and comfortable B & B - very well located for the Old Vic Theatre school (five mins walk max and downhill). Lovely view from our room overlooking the common - great cooked breakfast delivered on time to our room and lovely lovely hosts. Highly recommended. Good quality bed linen and...

As friends nearby were having a party,I stayed for the second time in this hotel as it is very close, but also because it is so friendly and comfortable. I had the same twin room as requested, with its own patio overlooking the garden and the city.Travelling on my own, I especially appreciate being able to eat the excellent breakfast...

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, near the Theatre School, with wonderful hosts and fantastic views across Bristol. Kay and Mike made sure we were comfortable, had great recommendations for places to eat and breakfast in our room was royally served. Thank you

I didn't want to leave the haven of this character property with its friendly and quirky hosts. With its own private entrance my week long accomodation allowed me to be completely independant whilst being warmly cared for by Kay and Mike . All amenities were close by, to include The Downs and outstanding views accross the city and beyond.

We were bowled over by Kays friendly and bubbly nature. This lady was born to run a guest house. It's a lovely house with fantastic views and lots of nearby places to eat and drink. Breakfast in bed is a nice touch and we will definitely return.

Our recent two day stay at The Belgrave began with a bit of a compromise as we had to settle for twin beds rather than our preferred double ( this we were aware of at the time of booking). Whilst the building was typical of it's age, it provided all we needed for a comfortable stay - clean rooms, adequate...

As a solo female traveller, this B&B was excellently positioned - easy walk to places of interest, overlooking Westbury Park and with very friendly hosts. It felt safe to return here after 9pm as the street was open and well lit. The walk down the hill to town was easy.
