Stayed for one night with a group of friends. Hotel is centrally located for shopping but not many bars nearby. Breakfast was disappointing and very bland. There were no fried eggs and very basic. Bacon was hard and scrambled eggs tasteless . Would expect better from this chain. There was also a lot of stag and hen parties staying at the hotel.

Dear HRJ73, Thanks for taking the time to share feedback following your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre hotel. We usually receive positive comments about our complimentary Hampton breakfast and so please accept our apologies should you have found it to be disappointing and bland. Hampton hotels are not permitted by our brand standards to offer egg choices that are cooked to order such as fried or poached eggs. We will share your comments about the scramble eggs to our breakfast team for review however we do avoid over-seasoning our eggs as we find that some guests prefer to season them themselves (espeically those guests on low-sodium diets). In closing, we hope that you were still able to enjoy your catch up with your friends and have the opportunity to be able to welcome you back to our property once more in the not so distant future. Kind Regards Mark Keeley-Swistek Deputy General Manager

We left our cases as we were early, were told check in was 3pm. We returned at 3pm, room not ready, but we're offered complementary drinks and told they'd let us know when our room was ready. Had to go and ask 45 mins later to see if room was ready... they'd forgotten to tell us🙄. Went for a shower as soon as we got to the room, there was only one bath towel, husband had to use the small hand towel! We rang and asked for another bath towel, someone tried to open the door (which we'd locked) an hour later while we were having a nap! Thinking they'd leave the towel outside the door..... nothing was there when we were getting ready to go for our night out. Rang reception again, it was half an hour later the towel was delivered. There wasn't a spare toilet roll and the one on the holder was running out! We both had colds and the tissue dispenser ran out after one sheet. I'm sure these were all minor blips in the cleaning teams check....the barman did say they'd had a company award ceremony the night before so maybe not everyone was on top form. The hotel is in a good location and I'm sure we'll use again.

Dear karenrW8407CJ, Thanks for taking the time to share feedback following your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre hotel. Firstly, we are sorry that your assigned room was not ready for 3pm. As a busy city centre hotel, we try our utmost to ensure all our rooms are ready by 3pm but on peak days, we may, at times, take slightly longer to achieve this goal and so please accept our sincerest apologies for any delay in checking you into your assigned room. I am pleased to see that our reception team offered you a drink on the house whilst you waited. Regarding your comment about the towel, if a do not disturb is not placed on your bedroom door and there is no response when knocking, our housekeeping and duty management team will enter a room. I can only apologise if they disturbed you whilst having a nap and likewise, for the delay in fetching you replacement tissues and toweling. In closing, we are sorry for the shortfall in room standards and have shared your comments with our Executive Housekeeper for review and investigation with her team especially the newer room attendants only recently recruited. Despite these issues, we are pleased to note that you would stay with our property once again. Kind Regards Mark Keeley-Swistek Deputy General Manager

The hotel was perfectly pleasant and in a very convenient location. I couldn’t find the hairdryer at all so I’m not sure if one of these was available in the room (and if it was it’d have been useful to know where). The fitness studio was definitely usable but definitely more of a studio than a gym. Breakfast was wonderful and made the hotel a real treat. The car park was discounted for hotel guests but still very expensive

Dear emilybF334TH, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback following your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre hotel. Firstly, it was lovely to read that you found our property to be 'perfectly pleasant' and that we were well situated for your travel needs. Hairdryers are available in all our bedrooms and can be found hung off the ironing board in the wardrobe. I can only apologise if you could not locate your in-room hairdryer but I do hope that you spoke to a member of our front desk team who would have been able to direct you to where it was located (and if missing, have arranged a replacement to be sent up to your assigned room). We were also pleased to read that you found our complimentary Hampton breakfast to be 'wonderful' and that it made your stay experience a 'real treat'. In closing, we look forward to having the opportunity to be able to welcome you back to our property at some point in the not so distant future. Kind Regards Mark Swistek Deputy General Manager

Lovely spacious room with good amenities. Checkin os effortless with the “select your room” facility via App and ability to use your mobile phone as keycard. Good central location. Breakfast was chaotic and a lot of items needed replenishing but overall happy with stay.

Choose this hotel if you want to park in a car park where you have to step over blood and faeces and leftovers from the city’s addicts. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor with a window that wouldn’t close properly and so we couldn’t shut out the traffic noise from the buses and the traffic below. We were kept awake by someone drilling the door handle of the room across the corridor at 10:30 pm. I had no idea if they were management or criminals. The hotel itself is anonymous and seems to be a stopover for people coming from and going to the airport. Help yourself to coffee, tea, juice from a machine and the breakfast is out on a buffet table.

Dear RomaLegin, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback following your recent stay with us here at the Hampton by Hilton Bristol City Centre. Please note that the car parking facility located bedside the hotel is privately owned and operated by NCP car parks. We are sorry to hear that NCP have failed to maintain a suitable standard of cleanliness in their car park and we will of course share your comments with their Operations Team for review. We only suggest the NCP due to it's proximity to the hotel and because we can offer a 25% discount. I am sorry that your assigned room had an issue with the window but I do hope that you reported this to our in-house maintenance team or a Duty Manager during your time with us as had we been made aware, we would have done our utmost to rectify the issue and failing that, move you to an alternative room. With regards to your comments about the noise disruption, please be aware that due to an unforeseeable maintenance issue, one of our door locks malfunctioned and the only way we could regain entry to the room (in order for that guest to gather their belongings and property) was to drill and remove the lock. We would not normally carry out such works so late in the evening however as that guest was departing very early the next morning, our Duty Manager made the decision that it would be far better to drill at 9.30pm then it would at 5am in the morning. I can only apologize for any inconvenience or disruption caused and please accept our sincerest apologies. In closing, it is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay and should you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. Kind Regards Mark Keeley Swistek Deputy General Manager

This is my second stay, and it was even better than the first - and that was good! The staff were very helpful, and went the extra mile for me. I wanted to keepy room for am extra night and they arranged fresh linen etc, so my daughter could join me The breakfasts are great - full English, Continental - also veggie and vegan options. Hotel is in prime position for the Centre, Broadmead shopping. Near to the bus / coach station and on all routes for buses to Clifton and Gloucester Rd Room extremely clean with a fab bathroom Considering the hotel was very busy, and its central position, it was quiet at night .
