People say 'You get what you pay for' but this isn't particularly cheap for an out of town pub. Rooms are outdated but big, but carpets and furniture has all seen better days, all looks a bit old and worn out. Bathroom not particularly clean either. All PAT electrical testing out of date with damaged sockets evident. Windows not too... More

Visited the Tree at Cadmore recently. The bar area and restaurant are welcoming and the food was pretty good too. The rooms however could do with a good refurbishment, as it is like entering the 70's/80s when you leave the bar. The room i stayed in was large and was clean. But the orange bathroom suit tells you everything along... More

Ok so the hotel rooms are tired but very large and comfortable, every member of staff I came into contact with were polite and helpful, the food was amazing, so all in all " just what I needed" would I stay again? Yes most defiantly

My favourite place in this area, whenever I come near by this place I make sure I visit this place. The staff is so welcoming and the food is excellent all the time. Love the selection of the beers and ales they have. I wish I could move near by this tree hotel so, I can enjoy the best food... More

I totally agree with the last review written. The hotel looks fine from the outside, although old bed mattresses and rubbish immediately outside, is a sign of a lack of attention. I was lucky in that my room had a great deal of space, the bed was comfortable, and although the bathroom was dated, the shower worked perfectly fine. The... More

Well first of all I got there and I couldn't get in, hotel door closed and also bar/ restaurant door closed. Managed to eventually get in. Anyway..... The window in my room had a gap in meaning at night being next to A road it was very noisy. Couldn't get a shower as no hot water at all. Internet doesn't... More

Spent a week at the hotel in May 2016 while working nearby, accommodation close to our work location isn't all that plentiful so were hopeful of this venue.. I'd write more but I am currently awaiting a response to a query raised in June 2016 over incorrectly invoicing me for the stay - quite a feat as it was pre-authorised... More

We booked at the Tree on the 17th Aug having stayed before we knew the food would be good and the room average. Arrived at 2100 two lads in the bar using foul language not a good start, but worse to come. Was told that the restaurant was closed as the chef wanted to go out with his friends, unbelievable... Called in on our way back from camping, great food and great service. Nice decor and friendly staff. Great Kids meals. Very novel to have a traditional pub menu and great curries on the same menus. Great puddings. Recommend as a good stop and will definitely tag for coming back.
