I visited Cambridge for an academic conference and chose to stay in Hilton Cambridge City Centre. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They greeted and welcomed me warmly. The room was comfortable and the beds were comfy and offered good quality of sleep. The hotel’s location was also very central and it was close to shops, restaurants and shopping mall. Overall, it was a fabulous four-day experience to stay in Hilton Cambridge City Centre. Thank you, Hilton family. I will choose you again for my next travel.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Room was lovely and fresh looking, very clean. The hotel looks newly refurbished or it is just keep very well and looks new. Amazing location in central Cambridge, everything is on your doorstep. Check in team were lovely, very informative about the hotel & surrounding areas. Bar area was nice to chill out in. Breakfast buffet was of a very high standards, options are amazing. Staff at breakfast couldn’t do enough for us. Yuka was amazing and she went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Plenty of staff keeping the area clean and tidy throughout breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back soon.

Pros: very good location, big room, good breakfast, good bar, concierge - very helpful. Cons: no fridge and minibar in the room, limited programs on TV (we were not able to watch Roland Garros); there is a notable difference between the 8.30 and the 9.30 buffet breakfast offers.

Excellent hotel. Professional staff. The breakfast was delicious. The room was big and very clean. The food and drinks at the hotel bar were very good. The price is low compared to the services offered. The location of the hotel allows you to easily visit the city.

Our “go to” Hilton was London Bankside. We are currently staying here at Cambridge Hilton, our third stay here. I have no hesitation to say that Cambridge Hilton is now our favourite U.K. go to Hilton. Mona checked us in and she was welcoming and delightful .. a real front of house star. All the staff we come across are smiling and helpful. The Executive Lounge is excellent with a range of wine, Prosecco, beers, spirits and mixers. Our room is well equipped and spotless with high quality toiletries with a most comfortable bed. Clearly very good management are operating this hotel and they be proud. We are in 245 an excellent room. We are both lifetime Diamond Members.

All team very helpful, pointers on where to go etc. The car parking is a bonus, cheaper than the nearby one. Breakfast is excellent great choice. Exec lounge is well stocked and serviced during 6-8pm. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Right in the middle of Cambridge, for all tourist bits, bars, cafes and shops also. Nearest common 5 mins walk.

Stayed in a junior suite which was 369 for the night with my husband and young children. Asked for a quiet room. Was given room 446 next to the lifts which meant we heard the lift motor all night, as well as very rowdy guests (hen and stag parties) rolling in late at night. Most disturbingly when we arrived while the room had been serviced someone (perhaps a guest who decided not to take this room) had used the toilet and not flushed. The reception. Staffed apologies and house keeping was sent. Given the price of the rather small suite, this did not fee anything like value for money

Dear 401mrsl, Thank you for your detailed review. All comments about our hotel, good & not so good are invaluable to us. Without feedback we are weaker in our quest to provide consistent 'excellent hospitality, care & service'. I apologise that your stay experience with us was not as expected and please be assured that your feedback has been shared with the team here in the hotel to be addressed. Room 446 is a junior suite with a king size bed and a sofa bed, and we've not had complaints about lift noise from this room before. I will investigate this personally. I can only apologise for the noise caused by other guests which can be difficult to control at times. I was disturbed to read of your Housekeeping experience on arrival in the room and this causes me the most distress. This will be addressed with the Housekeeping team to understand what happened. We stayed two nights at the Hilton Cambridge City Centre. The location is perfect - walkable to everything we wanted to see. Our room was comfortable; breakfast was top notch and as a Diamond member we were given access to the executive lounge. This was one of our favorite lounges we've ever experienced - Yuko manned the lounge by herself during our stay and did a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly. She never stopped working yet was extremely friendly and customer focused. The offerings of food and beverage were great. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we visit Cambridge.

Dear Eren_Oezturk, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you have been inconvenienced during and after you stay. The additional charge of £20 was a deposit for the electrical adaptors you borrowed from Reception during your stay and this has since been refunded back to your credit card after your check-out. We do always charge a deposit for these adaptors as we do lose so many from our guests when loaning them out, and I am sorry the Reception team did not explain this well enough to you. Great location, but not the easiest or quickest of parking. Having spoke with 2 other staff, managed to get sorted through Mark from concierge - very helpful. 20 minutes waiting at reception to check in, no apology for waiting. Room was okay, but old fashioned bathroom with shower in bath that is not good, weak in pressure to low. Usually stay at the University Arms or the fellows Hilton, which are far better than this hotel for the same or similar price.

I was perplexed to learn of the challenge regarding parking as we operate valet parking and our guests need only pull up in front of the hotel and our Concierge team will assist in luggage and parking of vehicles for you. We have always operated this way successfully, and occasionally there can be a slight wait if they are parking or retrieving a vehicle for another guest. I would appeal that this challenge for you was an isolated case and apologise for the inconvenience. I am sorry the Receptionist did not apologise to you for the wait on check-in at Reception, we occasionally have peak check-in and check-out times which we do 'staff up' for, however there can be a wait at times due to the volume of arrivals in a given moment. This is why the digital check-in and digital key on the Hilton App for Hilton Honors members is such a great tool to avoid all the queues and waiting times.
