£99 for one night at short notice, I and have to many complaints. Spacious shower hot water. Good sized room the matress was quite hard but still ok. One negative being the walls are very thin and you can hear lots. Staff are very friendly would probably go again as it's very central to the town centre.

In life you generally get what you pay for, and if you expect luxury at the prices the Lensfield charges you will be disappointed. The hotel is very clean, but faded, with a curious old-fashioned taste in furnishing and decor. It's a bit like staying with your grandma. Our room - we only stayed one night - was very small,...

I loved this hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was thoughtfully furnished and laid out, the shower was fab, the breakfast delicious and the bed comfy. The hotel had a personal feel about it rather than just being a carbon copy of the usual styles. I had a fantastic massage in the spa (one of the best...

Neither central nor remote, this hotel is pleasingly located, within easy walking distance of the town centre and close to the Fitzwilliam Museum. The place appears to be staffed by non-Brits, but this was no problem, as everyone was very friendly and helpful. The full English breakfast was excellent - everything was fresh and attentively provided. The wifi worked well....

My husband treated me to a break here this weekend, we stayed in a newly refurbished premier suite which was amazing, seperate lounge/kitchen/diner, bedroom was air conditioned and all furnishings all high standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok, was a buffet and could have been hotter, just a 5 minute walk to the town and...

Stayed here for one night on a Saturday when going to the nearby Junction. Room was a reasonable size, clean but tired looking as mentioned in previous reviews. Bathroom clean and shower run hot straight away. Bed was very hard with worn linen. Little extras such as water in the room, biscuits and chocs on the pillow make a nice...

The room was good was rather small, and we had to wait for the warm (not hot) water to run for over 3 minutes. The room windows did not close properly. Breakfast was OK, reception service great. And about a 1/3 of the equipment and furniture would deserve replacing soon.

I have stayed here a few times. Terraced houses joined together as a hotel. A bit of a compromise, but nicely done. It is reasonably priced for the centre of Cambridge. It has always been clean and comfortable. Sash windows proved difficult to close requiring patience, persistence and wiggling and nudging. The rooms are a bit cluttered with (antique repro)...

Stayed here with a couple of friends for a birthday weekend away. Generally run down feeling to the place. Not much hot water and not much help from the staff to rectify the problem. Nicely located for the city centre but would not return.. sorry.

Location: ok Rooms recently refurbished: Ok Breakfast: poor If you are choosing this hotel because it says 'free parking' then think again. They have 5 bays for 40 rooms on a first come first served basis. I ended up parking in a multi-storey near by, but if I had known I would have chosen a different place closer to the...
