During my stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing an exceptional level of hospitality, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Hassan and Janine. Their unwavering commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction and their genuine warmth left an indelible mark on my visit. Here's why their presence made my stay truly unforgettable From the moment I stepped into the hotel, Hassan's welcoming smile and professional demeanor set the tone for a remarkable experience. His attentiveness to every detail and proactive approach to assisting guests was evident from the outset. Also Janine who efficiently checked me in, while making me feel valued as a guest. Beyond their exemplary professionalism, Hassan and Janine possessed an innate ability to create a warm and personalized connection with guests. They remembered my name, greeted me with genuine warmth, and took a sincere interest in ensuring my comfort and satisfaction. Their genuine care and attention to detail went above and beyond, making me feel like a valued and cherished guest throughout my stay. Hassan's efficiency extended beyond the check-in process. He promptly addressed any inquiries or requests I had during my stay, ensuring that everything was in perfect order. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing local insights, or simply checking in to see if I needed anything, Hassan's dedication to exceptional service was evident at every turn. The Hotel is fortunate to have such exceptional individuals as part of their team. Hassan and Janine's commitment to going above and beyond for their guests epitomizes the true meaning of hospitality. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care left a lasting impression and made my stay truly extraordinary.

The hotel is good, staff really nice, location excellent. It has a restaurant on ground floor serving meals, breakfast and drinks. Room is very comfortable. However, the parking is paid (£12 per 24 on site or £7 nearby). The other negative impression was the bath. It's too shallow and therefore useless. Can't understand the point to offer such a shallow bath, maybe for babies.

Stayed for a long weekend. Check in was easy and information card was an added bonus. Room was large and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Small tv on desk probably should be bigger as gets lost in the room. Bathroom clean with a bath, and fresh white towels on the bed. Stephen was a good cook and loves to chat with guests I found that welcoming as sometimes staff are too busy to stop and chat. In fact everyone from the reception team to the robot hoover was friendly. Happy hour was good and so was the bar that served us after our visit to the rather busy vibrant town centre. We will be back :)

I’ve stayed in this hotel for a couple of time for work. Although it’s not particularly close to the centre of Cambridge, it’s in a great location for the station and is handy for a number of restaurants etc. (I can recommend the Wagamamas that is literally 30 seconds away!) I’ve the hotel to be reasonable value, especially for Cambridge in the summer, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to feel as though you’re in the heart of the historic city. (It’s not as central as the name suggests!) The hotel is a typical, basic Travelodge with a reasonable little bar/restaurant area. It’s not the modernest of Travelodges but it’s ok. On my most recent visit, the room wasn’t very well cleaned: there were quite a lot of random hairs dotted about the bathroom and room. The water in the shower/bath wasn’t very warm. There weren’t many electric sockets: I could only find one double by the kettle. There were USB chargers by the bed but these are only useful if you’ve got USB chargers (which I didn’t have on me so couldn’t use). Breakfast was disappointing: the hash browns were soggy and limp and the veggie sausages were inedible. I was impressed that there were non-dairy milk alternatives readily available and all hot food buffet items were clearly labelled if they were vegan (thanks - huge improvement on previous visits!) BUT given there aren’t that many vegan options to begin with, it would have been nice if they could be a bit better cooked, especially as it’s quite expensive for what it is. The WiFi was good when connected but if I didn’t use a device for maybe 10mins or so it disconnected and took a little while to reconnect. Given I’d paid for the WiFi I found this a bit frustrating and also thought being limited to two devices wasn’t great: many places offer free WIFI and/or the ability to connect more devices. Having said this, overall I did have a good stay: the bed was really comfy and the hotel was very quiet. I would happy return for business trips.

Hotel was close to train station, shops and walkable to everything in Cambridge. I felt safe at any time of the day and night. Paid wifi was convenient, and staff were helpful. Bedding was sufficiently comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at travelodge Cambridge Central, great location and lovely warm welcoming hotel. Massive thank you too charley from housekeeping team, she very bubbly and nothing was too much trouble for her, the rooms are but far the cleanest I've witnessed, no fault whatsoever. The shower was powerful, didn't want to get out. Diana the cook made us up some actually decent food so thank you very much! all round a very pleasant stay.

Not a pleasant stay. The room was filthy dirty, carpets very stained. No plug socket only USB next to bed which is not convenient if you need one for sleep issues. The desk manager was very unhelpful and rude when we asked for more milk, advised us he could not go and get any and to go to shop to buy some. English breakfast was cold and toaster burnt bread was told not to use it. Very poor customer service. Thankfully only stayed one night.

Location pretty good. 15-20min walk into centre. Parking only £7 in multistorey when validated. Modern hotel. Staff very helpful & friendly. Breakfast not fantastic but again staff very helpful. Had to move room because waste leaking from toilet. Moved us to another room immediately without any bother. All told, good option if in Cambridge overnight.

The rooms was clean and tidy. The breakfast is not worth paying for. The cooked food is horrid it all tasted like it had been cooked days ago, the juices are just watered down flavoured cloudy water. 2 members of staff stood behind a table staring into space who looked utterly bored. A real shame as I was really looking forward to the breakfast but this was a 1 out of 10 and that's being fair. Save the money and go into the local locations and enjoy freshly cooked breakfasts that don't taste like microwaved rubber
