This could have been a fabulous hotel. I felt tricked by the photography on the booking.com website. The interior stylist and photographer have talent. The builder they have used seems to have been on the tail end of an over run budget because the quality of finish in the dining room, stairs, landing and my room was "unprofessional DIY "...

King size room with comfortable bed, however poky ensuite very cramped, slight drains smell too & no hooks to hang anything on. TV would not tune in and couldn't find instructions. No normal teabags available. Curtains hanging from rail, windows noisy & not sound proofed. Breakfast was a shambles, continental breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, pot of strawberry yoghurt and...

Photos make this place look great but don't be fooled. All a bit shabby and off the mark from the boutique hotel images. Dining room is poor, en-suite tiny and no hot water in the shower. However location is good and the full English ok., and if that's what you're after then it'll suit fine. Go to premier inn or...

The hotel is conveniently located for the station and around 20 mins from the town centre. Converted from 2 or 3 houses the lay out is a bit of a warren. Our double room had just enough space to walk on either side of the bed but no more. Like many British hotels the ensuite bathroom has been carved out...

Stayed as a couple for the weekend. On check-in we asked if they could recommend anything to see or places to walk to on an evening. They said no. The room was nice and a good size. The water flow in the shower was terrible, either extremely hot or freezing. The Breakfast experience wasn't great either - heard almost every...

Stayed here over the Halloween weekend. I was originally reluctant due to the bad reviews on here and other sites but as we had left it late to book somewhere to stay we didn't have much choice. We were able to check in early and the receptionist was friendly. Our room was on the small side but it was clean...

We found the staff are very helpful & friendly. Hotel is very clean, the breakfast included in the price was enjoyed. I will recommend this Hotel to anyone I know who wishes to visit Cambridge and see the colleges. Thank you again for our stay.

20 minutes walk from the city centre. Apparently about £6/7 for a taxi. Around the corner from train station. Parking behind hotel, costs extra. Very small rooms but beautifully decorated. Continental breakfast included; toast, ham, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, juice, tea & coffee. Really comfy bed with lots of big pillows. 24 hour reception desk which is nice to know...

I arrived late afternoon and waited 10minutes before a member of staff finally appeared to check me in. My room was on the ground floor behind reception and the window overlooked the back of the kitchen where the stench of cigarettes wafted in from the staff who went out there to smoke regularly. Even with the window closed the smell...
