3 day stay Hotel in need of an update, it is stuck in the 1980s by the appearance of the decor. Water pipework 'noisy - banging!'. 'Hot Breakfast' expensive and luke warm to cold. Positives : All staff efficient & friendly and hotel is clean. Has lots of potential IF it were updated.

the staff in this hotel are lovely and really doing the service industry proud! the evening entertainment left a little to be desired to be honest, not a great singer and totally out of tune! Good breakfast - and served with a smile!

Had a one night stay there whilst travelling from Manchester to Holyhead. The building was ugly red brick walls both inside and out. There were loads of people smoking outside of the main entrance which we had to navigate through to get inside. The entrance hall and reception were dimly lit. The staff on reception were extremely efficient, courteous and...

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and they never fail to impress me, on all aspects of my stay from the friendly staff to the nice food, the rooms are spotlessly clean, good size and very well decorated. and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. I will be stopping here again...

After a 50 mile journey arriving at the hotel about 15.00pm, we were greeted by a friendly and very efficient receptionist who found our booking, and we were on our way to our double room within minutes of arrival. We just dropped off the bags and checked out the room {very clean and spacious} headed to the bar for a...

Last minute work booking and I expected rubbish. A friendly face on reception lifted my spirit after a long drive. The room was acceptably clean (except the remote control ... I hate grubby tv buttons) so headed to the bar. What a fantastic steak! Rump how it should be. Perfect and oozing flavour. Gorgeous mushrooms and divinely peppered tomato ......

This was the third year that we have used the hotel as a base for our yearly golfing break. Staff are very friendly and efficient, good food, making our stay very pleasant and relaxing. Looking forward to returning.
