Our room was upgraded at no extra cost and was outstanding, beautifully decorated, large and very comfortable. The spa facilities were wonderful. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have used this restaurant ( Nelson's bar ) on several occasions where we normally have an excellent chicken caesar salad. On Friday 6th March we ordered the same but somehow our order was lost between the bar and the kitchen. After quite a wait I asked the rather surly bar tender to check our meal. He did not report...

Stayed here on a visit to Chester booking through secret escapes. Itw as top quality and good value, our executive room was perfect and finished to high standard with lovely en suite. The whole place was beautiful inside and also smelled nice , lots of antiques and paintings but also felt modern. Both Nelsons bar and the very ambient Ciro's...

The dog was allowed in certain parts of the bar which was nice as she is well behaved. The staff brought her water each time we arrived, which was lovely! On the second...

After viewing the Hotel on line I was a little disappointed by the real thing. The Hotel is currently being refurbished. The room we had was lovely although a little tired looking. We had afternoon tea in the Brasserrie which was superb, probably the best part of the weekend. We had dinner in Nelsons bar.The food was superb, great portions...

Brilliant hotel even though renovations under way doesn't detract from the hotel. Service best I have ever had within the UK. Often stay in Cheshire and over 6 years this is the best hotel we have found. Ciros restaurant really good value and excellent food, decor makes you feel like you are In a restaurant abroad.
